Piesie Esther and Zionfelix on the Celebrity Ride Show

Ghanaian gospel musician Piesie Esther known in private life as Mrs. Esther Asiedu has numbered the cars she owns on the latest webisode of Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show.

The minstrel on the show revealed that she owns three cars but lives in a rented apartment with her nuclear family – husband and three kids. The ‘Okuraseni’ singer on the show told Zionfelix, the host that she possesses Toyota Matrix, Peugeot and the car which was used for the Celebrity Ride interview, Toyota Highlander purchased a year and a half ago.

Piesie Esther who was reluctant in mentioning the cost of the Highlander disclosed that her husband gave it to her as a gift when she traveled to the USA to deliver her last born. According to her, the car had been packaged when she returned from the United States of America after the delivery so she knows nothing about how it was purchased.

The gospel minister continued that her husband is the right person to mention the price of the Highlander but she is very sure a home used Toyota Highlander like hers costs more than Gh150, 000. She went on to talk about her dream car and other companies she owns.

No Gidigidi: Sarkodie To Collaborate With Bloggers

71

Rapper Sarkodie and other top Ghanaian musicians have been victims of bloggers uploading their full albums online for free downloads hours after its release.

This kind of piracy has been happening for long and from the looks, it is not ending soon so Sarkodie has devised a plan to prevent his yet-to-be-released album, Highest from being a sufferer. Obidi during an album listening session on Friday, August 18 in Accra told the press that he has plans of meeting music bloggers before the album is released on September 8 this year.

Replying blogger and OAP Zionfelix who quizzed his stratagem to prevent free downloads of the ‘Highest’ album, Sarkodie disclosed that he will not be harsh on bloggers because he believes most of them have been supportive so he will have a meeting with them to brainstorm on how best they can support the album when released instead of uploading all tracks for free.

“We are not going to be harsh so what we intend doing is to start pushing the idea that it is okay for these sites to put up the music but not to upload the audio itself. You put up the link to get the music because that is what is being done out there. If you go and see Jay Z’s album on any website, you will see a link leading to the album on tidal so hopefully that is what we are aimed at achieving.

It is not too easy in this modern world but Jay So and myself have plans for that. We will have another meeting aside today’s with the bloggers and look at how we will work hand in hand so that we don’t lose.” he answered Zionfelix.

Majid Michel Angry

1

Actor Majid Michel has advocated the need to re-look at the marriage registration system in Ghana, as he registered his displeasure with how things are currently done in that space.

Speaking at a press conference for the movie, ‘Adam The Eve’, which is about marriage, Majid pointed out that the Registrar General’s Department, the state authority which handles marriage registration, is not doing well enough to protect marriage as an institution.

According to him, this is because married couples are not being challenged to understand marriage before they sign up for it.

He has alleged that couples are allowed to sign certificates without making them go through a form of training system, as he insisted that would better prepare them to marry, instead of just walking into the Registrar General’s Department to sign.

“If I want to drive in this country, I will have to go through a test. They will test me and I have to pass the test. I have to memorise road signs. Then the state will now tell me that okay they are satisfied with my qualification, now we believe you can drive. You have convinced us by passing the test. Now get your certificate and get your licence.”

“But if I walk into Registrar General’s Department right now with actress Ingrid Alabi, they will ask me if I am sure we are not related? Then I say yes. They would say ok sit down and sign here,” he said.

Majid added that marriage vows are meant to be kept till the death of one partner, and that shouldn’t be taken for granted. “Couples must go through a series of training to acquire knowledge about marriage before they are allowed to sign up for it,” he reiterated.

Toosweet Annan Exposes Ghanaian Actresses

4
Toosweet Annan and Jackie Appiah

Actor Toosweet Annan has revealed that most of the actresses he works with feel intense dislike for him for reasons best known to only them.

The actor who refused to mention names on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix disclosed that it will be ill-suited to make their names known but he knows all his comrades in the movie industry who have been badmouthing him to producers. He revealed that most of his colleagues have tried “to stop a job coming to me but I just look over it because kids behave like that”.

Toosweet Annan believes the actresses slander him to movie producers “just because you are seeing another actor” to win the role for their heartthrobs. The father of one who added that he has been mute over the calumny advised Ghanaian actresses who have been defaming him to put an end to it because God’s wrath will be on them if they continue.

Toosweet Annan, when asked to choose between Nadia Buari and Jackie Appiah, disclosed that he loves both because they are all his workmates but “it is just unfortunate that at a point in time some develop hatred for me”.
