Hiplife artiste MzBel who denounced Christianity years ago has vowed never to return to the religion again.
The songstress known in real life as Nana Akua Amoah Belinda speaking on ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’ disclosed that most Christians do not practice what they preach and she has a problem with that act. According to her, she finds comfort at Judaism and will not return to the religion, which is based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
She further described Christianity as idol-worshipping because its members kneel and pray to a picture they believe represents Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Mzbel refuted reports that she once said that she doesn’t believe in God. The mother of one explained that she believes in God but not Jesus Christ who has been described as the Son of God.
“I don’t believe that Jesus Christ is God, I don’t believe that you have to pray through Jesus Christ. I don’t believe all those stories about Jesus Christ but I believe in God.” she said
The “16 Years” singer also debunked claims that she stopped being a Christian because of her woes at the International Central Gospel Church.
“My decision to stop Christianity was not based on my encounter at ICGC but when I quit the church, I sat down to think about why the people in the church are not practicing what they preach.”
When Zionfelix, host of the show quizzed her if she will return to Christianity again, Mzbel replied, “No, I see it as Idol-worshipping”.

Actor John Dumelo hardly replies comments, which are rude but he decided to put this young guy called Umar IDN Khattab in his right place.
Mr. Dumelo on Monday afternoon posted a picture he captured with some kids in the Volta Region with the caption “the future…”. In the picture, the renowned Ghanaian actor is seen showing something to the children on his MacBook.
Right after the tweet, Umar IDN Khattab who uses the handle Ericetse told the actor that he should sell his V8 car which was spotted somewhere at the corner of the photo because it can purchase MacBooks for all the kids.
Your V8 Could have bought more laptops so each of those kids will get one…so in ‘The future’ think about the kids https://t.co/axE5i4vkNs
We cannot tell if John Dumelo got angry by the question or not but his answer we think was very good for Ericetse’s tweet. According to the multiple award-winning actor, he has taken care of over 55,000 kids across Africa and he believes the amount he spent on them can buy 5 V8 cars.
My brother, the John Dumelo foundation has since 2009 touched over 55,000 kids across Africa. Same as buying 5 v8s….. https://t.co/GNvxBrhS3B
Ghanaian actress Vicky Zugah has expressed regret for her anal sex comments on eTV days ago.
The mother of two was reported to have said that she enjoys the sexual activity involving penetration of the anus.
It is great. I mean Ana.l S3x is great so find out if your partner likes it or not and then you will enjoy the act. However, not everybody like anal sex so you need to ask the person before you engage in the act with him or her.” she said on TV.
Days after thinking through her statement on the free to air television which generated insults for her, Vicky has agreed with many Ghanaians who rebuked her for the utterance.
In an instagram post on Monday afternoon, she asked Ghanaians to forgive her. She explained that “I didn’t mean it the way it came out. Something definitely went wrong.“ She pleaded with Ghanaians to use her mistakes against her bceuase she wants to fight against domestic violents.
“Coming across things like this almost on a daily breaks my heart into a million pieces. How do I quit talking about this when it keeps happening? Lend me your ears please. Stop trying to shut me up. I mean no evil. I just want to save as many lives as I can while am still here. Don’t use my mistakes against me. Don’t allow mistakes of yesterday overshadow today’s good intentions. I will beg you all if need be. Give me the chance to do this please. I am sorry,I didn’t mean it the way it came out. Something definitely went wrong.Forgive me.” Vicky Zugah posted
If you have ever heard anywhere that Bro Sammy has slept with any lady after he married then you should be thinking twice about that particular allegation because the gospel musician says he has never cheated on his wife after they became husband and wife.
The musician known in real life as Samuel Opoku speaking to Zionfelix on ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’ show made it clear that his wife who resides in France’s capital, Paris would divorce him should he sleep with another lady.
He said without mincing words that he has not slept with any other lady aside his wife since the days of their courtship. Sammy who refuted claims that he is controversial added, “my wife and God believe me”.
After listening to Bro. Sammy on ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’ enunciating how faithful he is to his wife, can we say that he did not impregnate Ohemaa Jacky as the Ghanaian-born UK-based female gospel musician alleged months ago?

Let’s all be shushed because we are about to talk about the triumphant concert reigning artiste of the year, Joseph Oscar Mettle had on Sunday, June 25 at the Accra International Conference Center.
Joe decided to have a live DVD recording session for his fourth studio album, God of Miracles and the attendance was more one of the biggest events we organise in the country – no name mentioned and no name will be mentioned. Christians really proved that they support a worthy cause. Believers did not just drive from their various homes just to sit and watch Joe Mettle and other gospel artistes he has featured on the album do their thing but also cooperate with them to have a successful recording.
The show, which started around 6:30 pm, did not last for more than three hours because all acts – Joe Mettle, Akesse Brempong, Ohemaa Mercy, Teddy Amilack and Ntokozo Mbambo made sure their performances were within time. So the show started with the first act,
So the show kicked off with the first act, Teddy Amilack treating patrons to good worship songs. To be frank with you, the auditorium was not packed when the show started but the lower deck was almost full.
Right after the first act worshipped with the audience, gospel reggae artiste Akesse Brempong was invited on stage by the show host, Jeshurun Okeyere – a gospel musician and Live FM presenter. It was then that many including me got to realise that Akesse is very popular in the Christian fraternity. The crowd chorused all songs he delivered on the night. In fact there was no dull moment when he was on stage.
Now Akesse is done, who’s next? There were only three supporting artistes on the bill so Joe Mettle had to be on stage and start his recording. Dressed in a black suit, Mr Mettle gently walked on stage with his backing vocalists. They started with worship songs making sure patrons feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.
After that was done, Joe invited Akese Brempong back on stage for the live recording of the collaborated song. “That song should have been the title of the album”, that was what I was telling myself when both were performing on stage. The song is toooooo good, I tell you.
Enough of Akesse Brempong and Joe’s song. After their performance, Joe Mettle before inviting Ohemaa Mercy on stage performed another worship song, which was also a beautiful piece. What wowed the crowd was when each of his backing vocalists was given the chance to freestyle the chorus – in fact, we heard voices upon voices.
So Ohemaa Mercy walked on stage and the remix for Joe Mettle’s ‘Ayeyi Ndwom’ was recorded. The crowd gave Ohemaa Mercy a hereon welcome when her name was mentioned as next act to join Joe Mettle on stage. Ohemaa Mercy took the song World Cup and gave a great performance. Let me add that as at this time, the auditorium was full with many people not finding a place to settle their buttocks.
Joe continued the event to pay tribute to the late Danny Nettey and honour Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo after Ohemaa Mercy walked off stage. The headline artiste went back stage after auctioning Yaw Sarpong’s painting for GH 5000 to rest for his song with South Africa’s superstar Ntokozo Mbambo. Both walked on stage few minutes after the break to recording their single.
So that is how the live DVD recording and concert of Joe Mettle’s ‘God of Miracles’ album happened. Oh, lets applaud the audience for their cooperation; they made the concert super excellent.
Famous people Zionfelix.net saw around aside Joe Mettle’s mum and dad were Ceccy Twum, Cwesi Oteng, SP Kofi Sarpong, Abena Ruthy, Willie and Mike, Eugene Zutah and Awo Zuah (I Call Them Mzbel’s family..lol) and many others.
With this event I quietly watched on June 25 at the Accra International Conference Center, I can say that Joe Mettle should win 2018 VGMAs artiste of the year and there should be no wrangle if that moment comes.
