Reigning artiste of the year  at the annual Ghana Music Award, Joseph Oscar Mettle has been awarded as the Man of The Year Entertainment at the second edition of Exclusive Men Of The Year Awards, EMY.

The gospel musician popularly called Joe Mettle was announced winner of the prestigious category at the 2017 edition of the event held on Saturday, June 24 at the Kempiski Hotel in Accra. The “Onwanwani” singer beat entertainers like Kofi Asamoah aka Kofas, Shatta Wale and D-Black to walk home with the award.

Artistes who entertained patrons at the event included Freddy Meiway, Irene Logan, Efya, Osibisa Band and many others.

Danchall artiste and artiste manager, Mr. Logic has put himself into a fresh trouble.

Fast rising dancehall musician Freshbone Corleone is demanding compensation in a form of money from him for allegedly selling his beat to other Ghanaian musicians. The young musicians in an interview with Arnold on Vibes in 5 entertainment show accused Mr. Logic of turning his beat into riddim for other artistes to use for their songs.

According to the peeved musician, the ‘Guinness and Smirnoff ‘ riddim was initially produced for his single project only to hear days later that it has been turned into a riddim with other artistes recording their versions, something he found illegal. The riddim he said was used by about 25 musicians, which included known artistes like Stonebwoy, Epixode, Jupita, Mr. Logic and many others.

Fishbone Corleone stated without mincing words that Mr. Logic “will not give riddim to musicians for free”. He added that Mr. Logic demanded money from him when he wanted to perform at Bass Awards years back.

In a chat with the previous BET winner for the African Category (International awards) 2015, he revealed that he sees the platform as a big deal to catapult him to the next level in his music career so he is poised for action than never before. Meanwhile, Stonebwoy is hopeful that though his nomination in this year`s scheme is tight in the competition, he can still pull a surprise by winning the category that has competent guys like Tekno, Davido, Wizkid and the rest in it.

Becca who has carved a niche for herself as one of the best performers in Ghana and across Africa will not be left out of the fun as she has also been billed to perform though she is a not a nominee this year. She also told reporters how excited she is to perform on the same stage with her label mate Stonebwoy who is up highly expectant of an award.

The BET experience will have performances from other artistes like Nasty C, Tekno, Rayvanny with Ghanaian but London based DJ Abrantie and Nigeria`s DJ Spinall on the DJ decks.

The event is slated for 24^th June 2017 at the Sayers Club 1645 Wilcox Ave. Gates will open at 8pm whilst performances will commence at 10pm.

Zylofon Media has been making strives after its establishment months back.

They became the talk of the town after the signed a gargantuan deal with highlife artiste Kumi Guitar. After the contract with the ‘Mmaa Time’ singer, many started asking who owns the company because of the money involved in the deal.

We saw him around town one of these days and he was comfortably cruising in a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. This machine cannot be owned by just anybody because of its unreasonably high price.

Actress Vicky Zugah is pissed over reports that she said in a 4-month-old interview that sexual activity involving penetration of the anus turns her on.

Miss Zugah became the talk of the town on Thursday, June 22 after a video of her happily talking about anal sex on eTV went viral. The mother of two in the video is heard loud and clear saying that she loves anal sex but report by some media outfits suggested that she said the anal sex turns her on.

“It is great. I mean Ana.l S3x is great so find out if your partner likes it or not and then you will enjoy the act. However, not everybody like anal sex so you need to ask the person before you engage in the act with him or her.”

Vicky in a sharp response has denied ever saying that anal sex turns her on. Not only that, the ‘My Darling Princess’ actress told Kwasi Abooagye on Peace FM Thursday evening that she never said she’s engaged in such an act before so Ghanaians should rubbish the report.

“I never said anal sex turns me on. I’ve not had anal sex before and I don’t even know it feels like. How will I say anal sex turns me on? I called the producer of the show to take down the video and story so I’m expecting it to be off social media.”

Vicky Zugah added that she would take a next action if producers of the show fail to honour their side of the agreement when she called asking them to take the video offline.
