Multiple award winning musician Bisa Kdei has officially commenced his much awaited #road2konnectconcert17, inside Awoshie Anyaa Market.

Why Awoshie? Bisa Kdei’s music life started from Awoshie, and ever since he became a mainstream musician, he hasn’t really been able to connect with his hood like he used to. So, to make his “konnect” movement satisfactory to him, he goes back to the hood where it all begun, by pulling up a historical event and charity for his people.

Bisa Kdei together with his crew fed hundreds of people in the community, with varieties of foods. He made sure each and everyone had an appetite by giving them drinks in addition to their well packaged meal.

Later in the evening, Bisa Kdei and his family in the music industry thrilled patrons with massive performances and back to back playlist.

Lil Win, D Black, Ex Doe, Kwaw Kese, King Promise, Sista Afia, Medikal, Pappy Kojo, Criss Waddle, Wisa, Keche, Epixode, Sister Deborah, Atom Reloaded to mention but few, whiles Dr Pounds and DKB were the official Mc’s for the night.

It was indeed a historical one.

The campaign “road 2 konnect concert” which is aimed at giving more of Bisa Kdei to his fans, and the release of his upcoming third live album dubbed “konnect” will witness Bisa Kdei connecting more to his fans through various means, including concerts, surprise visits to their homes, charity events, and what have you?

Awoshie Anyaa Market will forever be grateful and proud to have Bisa Kdei remember where he came from, and by gracing their community with this huge project.

Forget John & John Plagiarism: Kofi Asamoah To Release New TV Series, ‘ Noko Fio’

Celebrated movie producer and director Kofi Asamoah seems not perturbed about the public backlash on his recently released movie, John and John.

Kofas as he is fondly called despite reports that his third movie is a copy and paste of South African movie ‘Skeem’ is preparing to release a new TV series called, ‘Noko Fio’. The new show stars several top actors in the country. Not just actors, Kofi Asamoah added other entertainers who are not mostly seen on set shooting movies.

The new TV series, ‘Noko Fio’ features stars like Nana Ama McBrown, Kalybos, Benedicta Gafah, Yaw Dabo, Jackson Davies and Salma Mumin and Umar Krupp. Other known faces in the series include Ibrahim Ben Brako of Hitz FM and Multi TV fame, Desiree Crentsil and Akosua of Ghana’s Most Beautiful fame.

The new comedy series is said to be released in mid-July at a yet-to-be-announced television station.

‘Noko fio’ is a comedy drama that highlights the hustle of living in the capital. ‘Noko Fio is in Ga language, literally translates, ‘Something small’ – is a jargon that is brought to bare in a hilarious comedy series which unveils different classes of people trying to make ends meet at all cost.

Abraham Attah says he does not know Lexis Bill.

The child actor shocked listeners of Okay FM’s drive time show including the host, Abeiku Santana on Friday evening when he disclosed that he does not know the popularly radio and TV presenter. Attah who was on the show after attending the marriage ceremony between Stonebwoy and Louisa sounded not perturbed after Abeiku Santana expressed shock for his comments that he does not know the Joy FM drive time host.

From his voice, it is not surprising for him to utter that he does not know Lexis Bill because he was saying the truth. When Abeiku Santana reminded him about the three media personalities who mocked his ‘Thank You’ phrase at 2016 Oscars, he repeated that he does not know who Lexis Bill is.

Lexis Bill of Joy FM, Multimedia’s MzGee and Live FM’s Jay Foley were reported to have mocked the child-star for his pronunciation of ‘thank you’ at the 2016 Oscars. Mr. Bills wrote a post on his Facebook wall on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, to render his apology.

Husband of Vivian Jill Lawrence was missing when the actress named her second son, Alfie Nana Amponsah Okobeng on Saturday, June 17 in Kumasi.

Zionfelix.net is reliably informed that Jill’s partner who is not in the country at the moment was absent due to his busy schedules but he asked his brother, Sam Glovis to represent him at the christening. Glovis presence at the event has made many conclude that he is the father of Vivian Jill’s second son but that is false.

Sam Glovis we are told is a married man who resides in Germany with his family but agreed to be in Ghana for the naming ceremony because his brother asked him to.

Gospel musician Nana Yaw Asare known for many hit songs has been off the music scene for several years.

Fans of the musician might have forgotten him or have fallen in love with other gospel acts who have been releasing good songs in recent times. The man known for songs like Odomankoma, Visa, Katinka, Yewo Nyame and others has been out of the country all these while winning souls.

Nana Yaw Asare who has been in the United States of America for years is back to Ghana to continue music. He was on Accra FM’s Gospel 360 entertainment show hosted by Andy Favoured last Sunday and he’s not changed that much.

The only change on his body is the growth but aside that, everything on him is almost the same as the last time Ghanaians saw his pictures around.

Mzbel Lists All The Cars And Houses She Owns

Some Ghanaian musicians are really living the celebrity lifestyle.

One of the few people who are living the big girl lifestyle right here in Ghana is Nana Akua Amoah Belinda popularly called Mzbel. She was on the first episode of ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’ premiered on Sunday, June 18 on YouTube.

The saucy musician in a chat with Zionfelix, host of the show listed some of the properties she has made after she started music years ago. Mzbel made it known on the show that for that past four years, she has purchased three cars.

She said her recently acquired Rav 4 she used for the ‘Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix’ show cost more than what the media reported sometime back. The ’16 Years’ singer also disclosed that it cost her around Gh70, 000 to get her car from harbor when it was shipped to Ghana.

Aside the three cars she talked about, Mzbel said she owns a house somewhere in Accra.

The christening of Alfie Nana Amponsah Okobeng, Jill’s son was in two parts, the morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session was for only family and few friends. The afternoon part was the reception where most of her friends in the industry showed up to support her.

Vivian Jil Lawrence gave birth to her second son on February 23 in United States of America.
