Host of Accra FM’s gospel entertainment show, Gospel 360, Andy Favoured has exhibited that he is indeed a romantic man.
Andy who happens to be one of the managers of gospel artiste Ohemaa Mercy shocked his girlfriend, Abena Agyiewaa Acquah with a promise ring when the lady thought she was organising a surprise birthday party to celebrate him. Now let’s see how everything happened on Friday, May 12 at Ohemaa Mercy’s house.
Weeks to Andy’s birthday, sister Abena contacted close friends of Andy informing them of her plans to put up a party for him. The initial date was Saturday, May 13 but plans changed few days to the event because gospel musician Jeshurun Okyere was marrying on the same date – most people who were invited to the surprise event would be at the wedding so she thought it wise to bring it a day before Mr. Okyere’s big day.
After counting days and hours, the time came for all invited guests to meet at Ohemaa Mercy’s residence to wait for Andy Favoured who was moving up and down with Ohemaa’s hubby, Mr. Isaac Twum Ampofo who also happens to be the boss of the ‘Aseda’ singer’s management team. Somewhere around 8 pm, Mr. Twum-Ampofo gave a horn alerting us that he has arrived with the birthday boy. Friends and family of Andy welcomed him with a birthday. Whilst some were exhibiting that they had good voice, others including myself, Zionfelix were with water making sure he becomes wet.
Fast forward to the main event, there was a prayer, ministration from Francis Amo, goodwill messages, food and cutting of the cake. After all these things happened at the poolside, we were informed that there is another surprise for Andy so we should all walk majestically to the hall but that was a lie. In fact, it was a surprise for sister Abena Agyeiwaa instead.
On the big TV screen well-positioned on the wall, we started seeing pictures of Andy Favoured and his girlfriend, Abena Agyiewaa Acquah narrating to us how the journey started from being friends to their current state. From Miss Acquah’s actions, she had no idea of what was happening. She kept asking, “Where did you get these pictures from”. After Andy hired the services of someone to narrate how their love journey has been on the screen, he knelt and asked Abena Agyiewaa Acquah the big question, “Would You Marry Me?”.
Now Abena who thought she was surprising her boyfriend has been surprised instead because Andy even knew about the birthday party from the onset that is why he even planned ahead to propose. Andy actually wanted someone to tell his girlfriend to organise something like a surprise birthday party for him so that he could propose on the day but he was informed that she had even started something like that so he just kept quiet and played along.
Abena who happens to be a banker on the night after the big question cried for minutes but eventually gave a positive answer. You think Abena was the happiest person on the night after Andy proposed? Hell no, her younger sister who is currently at level 200 at the University of Professional Studies Accra, UPSA behaved like she was the one receiving the promise ring.
The night was actually fun. In fact, guys need to be romantic like Andy Favoured who has worked with several gospel musicians in the country.

The French who is based in Ghana speaking to Zionfelix.net denied ever beating his ex-girlfriend. He continued that Vicky Zugah finds it difficult to say sorry whenever she offends someone and that is very bad on her part.
She advised Vicky Zugah to change her lifestyle else “she will meet her menopause and still be on her journey of searching for the right man.”
“As for me Dj Cash I have never abused Vicky in any way. I admit she’s a very kind lady and was so good to me. A woman or a man that can’t say sorry in a relationship or marriage can never have peace or stay in. Jumping from one man to another will not help her find the right man she needs because nobody is perfect and if she continues this way she will meet her menopause and still be on her journey of searching for the right man. She should sit herself down and ask why all men abuse her if only she said the right thing. Love doesn’t base on words a real man doesn’t marry beauty but character, attitude and behavior.
I always tell Vicky that she’s not spiritually, mentally ready to have a man in her life despite how down to earth she’s. We do have our differences but as for me I never raised my hand on her. What Vicky need now isn’t this publicity after every relationship but have to sit down and meditate about having so many relationships and 2 children with 2 men and still want to count mores. Sex isn’t everything for a real man Zion the mutual respect count as well” DJ cash told Zionfelix.net from South Africa.
DJ Cash is the C.E.O of CashOnly Empire, a production firm, and clothing line.
