Media personality Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has resigned from Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).

The host of Angel FM/TV’s Morning Show in Accra announced his resignation from the media outlet in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net.

Afrifa-Mensah cited a mismatch in interests between him and the management of the company as the reason for his resignation.

He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity he had to work at the station and also serve Ghanaians.

This decision was made due to differences in interests between the management of the company and myself.I am grateful for the opportunity to serve ABN and the Ghanaian public. To my fans and family out there, I will share my next move soon.”

The performance of Shatta Wale at the event triggered online conversations. His fans applauded him for a great performance while opposition fans say otherwise.

A few days after the event, the leader of Shatta Movement has returned to Ghana.

Ghanaian actor Kwaku Manu has weighed in on the rift between Strika of Beasts of No Nation and his caretaker, Gunshot, from Ras Nene’s camp.

This comes after Gunshot banished the Beast of No Nation star from under his care. He accused the youngster of stealing from him several times.

Gunshot said he had been studying Strika’s unacceptable behaviour for a while and deems it fit to part ways with the embattled kid actor.

Strika had begun settling into the Kumawood community before Gunshot’s accusations, which came with a viral video of him openly chastising his former protege.

According to Kwaku Manu, Strika’s caretaker could have handled the situation better. The Kumawood actor established that Gunshot’s decision to share Strika’s videos online was not necessary.

“He should’ve taken the kid back to Accra and handed him back to his family. If not, the family can still consider him as Strika’s caretaker and can question him about their boy’s whereabouts.”

Akufo-Addo was Ghana’s worst-ever president; we’ll witness change under Mahama—Kumchacha

Outspoken Ghanaian cleric, Prophet Kumchacha, has labelled Nana Addo as Ghana’s worst leader of all time.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV at the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama at the Black Star Square, Prophet Kumchacha did not mince words about his dissatisfaction with Akufo-Addo’s administration.

“We have all witnessed the poor governance under Akufo-Addo’s leadership,” Kumchacha stated.

“The entire world recognises him as the worst president in Ghana’s history. Today marks the end of his tenure, and that is why I am here. What we are witnessing today is tragic. Akufo-Addo is Ghana’s greatest adversary. If you are asked to find the devil and you encounter Nana Addo, then you have found him.”

While Kumchacha’s critique of the former president was scathing, he acknowledged one noteworthy achievement during Akufo-Addo’s administration: the reconciliation with the family of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings after years of estrangement.

However, Kumchacha condemned what he described as financial mismanagement during Akufo-Addo’s presidency. He specifically took issue with the allocation of $58 million for what he referred to as a “swimming pool” under the guise of constructing the National Cathedral.

“Even that [reconciliation] was overshadowed by frivolous expenditures, such as spending $58 million to dig a swimming pool under the pretext of building a National Cathedral,” he added.

Looking ahead, Prophet Kumchacha expressed optimism about Ghana’s future under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama.

He believes the country is poised for significant progress in the coming years.
