One of the youngest Kumawood movie producers, Poleeno, CEO of Arms Films has successfully graduated from the University of Education, Kumasi campus.

The producer of ‘Dream Girl’ movie real name Armstrong Poleeno Addae ended his stay at the Tanoso located tertiary institution on Tuesday, May 7 after studying Information Technology for four years.

The happy producer speaking to Zionfelix.net after completing the high-level educational institution thanked God for helping him to complete school. Mr. Addae continued that it is time he fully joins the movie industry since he is now done with school.

“Education is the key but for now I have to focus a bit on my talent. As said the Bible there’s time for everything, now is time for me to put my full time into filming. I have always been in school since I started filming. I think this is the right time for me to prove to Ghanaians the quality work I have always wanted the film business to be”.

Poleeno who is currently working on a new TV series called ‘Raw’ disclosed that first season is almost done and will be out soon.

“Raw will hit the screens of Ghanaians very soon. Our team is almost done with the first season. On a meeting we will let Ghanaians know the actual date we will be releasing.” he told Zionfelix.net

Gospel diva Gifty Osei after launching a decade in gospel music on March 27 this year has visited Adom FM in Accra to celebrate the anniversary with them.

The ‘Yento Nkyia’ hitmaker was on Adom Live Worship hosted by Kwamena Idan on Wednesday, May 10 to worship with listeners of the show and also thank the Multimedia Group owned station for their continuous support. After hours of leading the numerous listeners of the afternoon show to the presence of God, Gifty together with the presenter, producers of the show and backing vocalists cut the cake to observe the 10years anniversary.

Jak Alolomi was on the show to help her colleague commemorate her 10 years anniversary in music.

Before Adom FM, Empress Gifty Osei had visited Okay FM to mark the anniversary with the station and its listeners. She will be at other media houses to thank them for their support throughout her stay in the music industry.

Gifty Osei listing activities planned to commemorate the 10 years celebration told Zionfelix.net at the launch in March that there would be dinner for the media, float and a mega concert. The gospel minister added that she will release an album this year as part of “Empress Gifty @ 10” celebration.

Spoken Word Artist Yom Nfojoh Releases ‘ Serwaa Akoto’ – LISTEN

One of Ghana’s foremost poets/spoken word artists Yom Nfojoh is out with his first single titled ‘Serwa Akoto’ which features Nigerian sisters, Tara and Bella Obiago.

In this West African collaboration which also features Nigerian band Johnny and the boys, Yom has succeeded in translating the magic he is known for on stage to a wider audience with this audio project.

Recorded live at 3fx studios, ‘Serwa Akoto’ tells the story of an indigenous African woman struggling to cope with the demands of a fast changing society and the extents she is willing to go to fit in.

‘Serwa Akoto’ is a song that makes for great listening and is meant to be savored. Download, enjoy and share.

Now Kumawood movie lovers will not have to rush to stores to buy CDs before they can watch their favourite stars all because Kumawood App is launched.

The much-awaited app was successfully launched at a ceremony held at Golden Beam Hotel in Kumasi on Wednesday, May 10. The Kumawood App is a partnership between Kumawood Multimedia, organisers of the annual Kumawood Awards, MTEC-Communications and MTN.

The newly launched app already has 200 short films and skits.

To download the Kumawood App, visit the App store and search for Kumawood App and follow the registration process.

Watching movies on the Kumawood App is by subscription and subscription could be paid via MTN Mobile Money, Visa etc.

French sparkling wine, Luc Belaire has officially been launched to be on the Ghanaian market.

The product officially labeled “Luc Belaire Rare Rosé,” is solely distributed in the country by Amphora. At the launch of the wine, Robert Ahomka-Lindsey, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry who was the special guest of honour lauded bosses of Amphora for such a feat.

He promised to help the company whenever they call on him because the government aims at promoting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur, Desmond Blackmore popularly called D-Black was announced as the brand ambassador for the product. The Black Avenue Muzik boss speaking at the ceremony organised to outdoor the product thanked heads at D-amphora and manufacturers of the win for appointing him as the campaigner for the drink produced in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of the South of France.

The company was successfully launched at a beautiful ceremony held in Accra on Saturday, May 6.

Owners of the company speaking at the event promised to unearth talents and also help the Ghanaian showbiz industry grow. At the event, Florex Sports And Media told the press present at the event that they have shot their first movie and it would start showing at the cinema in Acra soon.

The movie titled ‘SEASONS IN A VOW’ they said will be premiered on June 9 at the Silverbirds Cinema, Accra Mall and Westhills Mall. The movie directed by Pascal Amanfo features top stars like Kafui Danku, Roselyn Ngissah and many others.

SP Kofi Sarpong Confirms That Management Is Not Making Enough Profit From Him, Here’s Why

SP Kofi Sarpong is scheduled to have his first ‘SP KOFI LIVE IN CONCERT’ on May 28 at the National Theater and as part of series of events before the show; he was at Accra FM to talk about his career and the upcoming event.

During the conversation with Nana Romeo on the mid-morning show, the gospel musician made a horrific leak. The King of African Borborbor disclosed that his management is not making enough returns from the money they push into his brand. Explaining it, SP Kofi Sarpong made it known that his maagment, Media Excel Production rejects many concerts because his work as a policeman does not allow him to perform at several events especially the ones outside the country.

To him, one of the major avenues his management would get profit from investing in his brand is the shows so his inability to accept gigs due to his government work is not helping the production house.

“It is true that they are not making enough returns because I cannot leave my work as a policeman. My job as a police is also a calling so If I don’t make sure that there is peace in the country, who am I going to entertain?

Honestly when it comes to going for events and monetary aspect, management is suffering but God will make a way. I mostly make very good use of my annual leave.” SP Kofi Sarpong told Nana Romeo on Accra FM.

Gospel musicians who will join the King of Africa Borborbor on stage at the first edition of S Kofi Sarpong Live In C0ncert are Ohemaa Mercy, Nacee, Joyce Blessing, Gifty Osei, Cecce Twum, Abena Ruthy, Francis Amo, Niella, Kinskid, KODA and many others.

Tickets for the event are selling at Gh50 for singular, Gh70 for double and GH100 for VIP.
