When all thought we have closed the chapter on the annual Ghana Music Awards, Afrobeat artiste Feli Nuna has made a dreadful comment.
The ‘I Like Am’ singer was on Live FM Wednesday morning to premiere her new single, ‘Afromagic’ and on the show, Daavi Diva told the host that she never knew Fancy Gadem before he walked home with his first VGMAs award.
According to Felina Nuna, even though she had not heard any song from the Northern star, she was not worried when he was announced the winner for the New Artist of The year category at this year’s awards, which was held at the National heater. The wide-reaching female rapper and singer explained that she was informed later that he had sold-out events in 2016.
She added that awards are not her aim in the music business so she just had to agree to whoever won the award for the category she was nominated for.
She told Jay Foley, host of the morning show that her sole aim is to make the public happy with her songs but awards come as a bonus.
