Tinny Offers Gh6000 Reward For Arrest Of Thieves Who Broke Into His Car

1

Ga-rap super heavyweight and Hiplife superstar Tinny may be in a situation which no artiste wants to find himself.

According to his manager, Nii Kweitey Quaynor, the artiste has fallen victim to thieves who made away with his duffle bag containing his laptop, external hard drive and an undisclosed amount of foreign currency.

The sad event happened Friday dawn when then artiste realised that his vehicle had been broken into and his duffle bag was missing. The “God Year” hitmaker had just left the studio and was on his way home in the wee hours of the day after a night of hard work on his upcoming album.

According to his manager, the duffle bag loss is a big blow to his artiste because it contained some of Tinny’s most priceless items as far as his music career is concerned.

The bag contained an HP laptop with professional and personal information and an external drive which contained almost all of Tinny’s unreleased videos and songs.        Asked if there were any ‘improper’ videos or pictures on the laptop or external drive, Nii Kweitey was elusive with an answer and only said that the camp is working hard to retrieve the missing items because it would be devastating to their brand if items were leaked.

The management of Tinny is, therefore, offering a reward of $1500 USD for any information leading to the retrieval of the missing items. “Please report to the nearest police station with any leads. The duffle bag is a brown Gucci bag with two straps. The external drive contains almost all of Tinny’s music catalogue and music videos,” he said.

This incident threatens to derail Tinny’s plans to stage a serious return to his position as an indomitable rap champion.

Tinny has been releasing a series of rap bangers and was poised to drop his full album in the coming months.

PHOTOS: Miss Ghana Foundation & Its Role In Social Development

6

As Miss Ghana @ 60 beckons, it is also imperative to celebrate the brand’s various social interventions by the Miss Ghana Foundation.

The Miss Ghana Foundation is the outreach wing of the Miss Ghana organization that oversees the social intervention and humanitarian responsibilities of the group and equips young women with the necessary skills to be discerning and functional in society.

For many years, the Foundation has carved an impressive niche as that body that generates awareness to various socio-economic problems, collaborates with government institutions and corporate firms in sending relief to various communities across the country.

It has actively been involved in providing meaningful and lasting solutions to most of the social interventions embarked on.

One of the major projects undertaken by the Miss Ghana Foundation, among many others is the Don Bosco Street Child Project; where the Foundation aided in acquiring a 10-acre land and established a hostel where thousands of street children are given social and technical training.

In line with the core objectives of the Foundation, the Miss Ghana Organization has always been choosing personalities who best fit the agenda.

In order to win the bragging rights to be called ‘Miss Ghana’, one must be primed, have leadership and strategic skills, possess the passion to help others and must be ready at all times to confidently represent the nation with pride.

‘Miss Ghana’ is not all about the glitz, ‘glam’, bliss and the many privileges that come with the crown; it comes with an ambassadorial role that involves lots of toil and sweat – in joining other enterprising ladies to bring change to communities.

The role of the Queen is also to serve as a role model who aids in generating support for the under-privileged in societies to get access to quality education, health and good standard of living.

As an Ambassador, the Queen must be in a position to serve as a source of inspiration, a beacon of hope and a voice for girls and young women across the country.

It is imperative to note that the main focus of the Miss Ghana brand has and will always be the various social intervention projects the foundation embarks on.

As the organization marks its 60th anniversary, the focus is to have the ‘Miss Ghana@60’ titleholder; her runners-up and regional queens dedicate a minimum of one year of service full of commitment, diligence, loyalty and passion – in line with extending social intervention programmes across the country.
