I’ll Pay Bribe To Win Award – Bro. Sammy

3

Gospel musician Bro. Sammy has defended his words that gospel musicians paying bribe to win an award is not a sin.

Zionfelix.net reported hours ago that the musician believes his fellow ministers should not be crucified when they give an inducement to pick awards because it is to promote the work of God.

Bro. Sammy in a separate interview with KMJ on Hitz FM Tuesday morning has stated that he would pay bribe if the right time comes. He noted that awards help project the work of God so giving an inducement to take one should not be talked against.

“I’ve never paid bribe before but I will pay if the chance comes. It is not a sin to uplift the name of God. The bible says money can solve all problems so if it can help for others to hear about God, I see nothing wrong with it.

If you preach to someone to come follow Christ and he is hungry, the person would still be sinning but if you advise the person and add money for him to start something, the person will surely depart from the bad ways.

So to pay cash and win award to help push the name of God, I’ll pay because money is nothing before God,”

I Don’t Want To Be A Ghanaian Artiste, I Want To Be Like Wizkid – Kuami Eugene

1

Up and coming Ghanaian musician signed to Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene plans not to be like any Ghanaian artiste.

The young musician nominated for the unsung category of the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in a chat with MzGee of Hitz FM said it is his aim to conquer Africa within few years so he is trying very hard to follow the footsteps of Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and performer Wizkid.

“I’m aiming at being a Wizkid kind of artiste. I mean Ghana is big and we have good artistes but I don’t want to be a Ghanaian artiste. I want to be recognized all over the world and that is what I’m working hard towards.” he said.

Detailing his plans to put him on the international platform as he wishes, the former contestant of MTN Hitmaker disclosed, “hard work and my management will play a vital role. I barely sleep, I write a lot, I produce a lot and I have 25 beats awaiting anybody who is ready to feature me. I’m really working hard”.

Zionfelix.net gathers that Kuami Eugene wrote, produced and mastered MzVee’s “Rewind” single, which features him.

Every Artiste We Sign Will Get A Brand New Car – CEO Of Zylofon Media

1
Nana Appiah Mensah with Kumi Guitar

The Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah has promised to buy a car for every artiste the entertainment company signs on its record label, Zylofon Music.

Speaking to the media during a press soiree to launch Kumi Guitar’s first single after he was signed on Zylofon Media, Mr. Appiah Mensah stated that the house, $100,000 and other goodies the highlife singer benefited when signed will differ from other artistes. According to him, all artistes will not enjoy the same benefit since they all have different ambitions and problem but quickly added that every musician they sign on Zylofon Media is entitled to Hyundai Sonata.

Explaining why their signed musicians would get a brand new Hyundai Sonata, Nana Appiah Mensah said it is to help make movement easier for them. The man who disclosed that the car is a signature of the company added that an artiste who has enough cars and would not need the Hyundai Sonata can give it to his errand boys to help them in their dealings.

To him, Zylofon Media cannot sign an artiste without giving the person a Hyundai Sonata.

“The benefit any artiste we sign would get depends on the contract. The contract we will sign would base on my bargaining skills. It is not always the case that we would buy a house. Maybe the bargaining skills of a certain artiste would make us buy something bigger than the house we gave Kumi. Agreement differs from person to person and the content depends on the two people.

But there is one thing that will cut across al kinds of agreement we will sign with artistes which is the car. We call the car our signature. The Hyundai Sonata is our signature car that we would like to give all our signed musicians. Even if the act has a car, the car has to be given to the person and if for nothing at all, those helping him can use it to make work easier for them.

For the car, we will ensure that every act we sign gets it but other details of the contract would base on how negotiations would go and our agreements” Nana Appiah Mensah told the media including  Zionfelix.net.

Zylofon Media means business. Every artiste they sign gets a free car aside all the big big goodies

Gospel Musicians Paying Bribe To Win Award Not A Sin – Bro Sammy

1

When we all thought the VGMAs bribery allegation against gospel musicians by George Quaye was over, Bro. Sammy says we should spare him few minutes to give his take on it.

The worshipper says he sees nothing wrong with his colleagues persuading award organisers to act in their favour by a gift of money or other inducements. The musician in an interview with Dave Hammer on Hello FM said when gospel musician wins the award, it opens bigger opportunities for the artiste to win more souls for Christ so he sees nothing wrong when a fellow offer a bribe to win an award.

Bro. Sammy who admitted that he has not come across a colleague paying bribe to win award made it clear that it is not a sin for gospel musicians to give an inducement for awards. He explained that secular musicians always win most awards so he sees nothing wrong if a gospel musician can pay to beat them.

“I’ve not seen a gospel musician paying bribe but it is not a sin when someone pays bribe. The secular musicians mostly win all the awards so if someone can pay for gospel artistes to sweep most of the plaques, it is beneficial.

The Bible says money can do everything so if someone will pay just for gospel to top the awards, it is good.” Sammy opined.

Zionfelix.net is reliably informed that Bro. Sammy is out with a new album titled “Nyame Ne Hene”.

Strongman Reveals Why Sarkodie Is Always The Best Musician

6
Strongman & Sarkodie

Rap artiste Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie is one of the best musicians in the country and he keeps soaring higher.

The ‘Adonai’ hitmaker for the past years has released several hit songs, which have won him a number of awards. Obidi might be doing something different from what he colleagues are doing which makes him stay up there. It looks like Strongman knows what has helped Sarkodie to be the number one.

The ‘Oh Joo’ rapper in a conversation with Hitz FM’s KMJ listed some things he thinks Sarkodie has been doing for all these years that have pushed him to the number one on the list of best musicians in the country.

First, he made mention of the rapper’s voice. To him, Sarkodie sounds different from his colleagues. He added that the BET award-winner is creative and versatile.

“His voice alone makes him special among his peers. When you hear his signature “Huh”, you get to know that this is Sarkodie. That is one of the many reasons why he is always on top. His voice helps him so much. He has a good voice and also has control over the language that he uses to rap.

Aside from these ones Sark is also very creative. Aside from the fact that he can release hip-hop for us to enjoy, he can also switch to afrobeat and other genre – he is very versatile.

He’s not like other rappers you only hear from them when it’s time for beef but they disappear when the feud is over.” Strongman said.

WATCH: Becca Releases “Meni Waaa Video”

1

Ghana’s Queen of music – the one and only Becca is not resting on her oars.

From the success of her last single “Na wash” featuring Patoranking which broke records in the Ghanaian scene with over a million views in just one week of release.

The natural beauty is at it again with a soothing traditional African love story record, titled “Meni Waaa” meaning “Me and you”. The song is highlife at its finest.

The music video is not just epic filming but portrays a near perfect amalgamation of a west African cross marriage.

The lush landscapes, colorful attires and the almost monochrome treatment of the visuals with a hint of bronze gives a classic and regal mood to the entire concept perfectly.

It was directed by Clarence Peters.

Strongman Is Underrated – D-Black

6
Strongman

Multiple award-winning afrobeats and hiphop artist D-Black has spoken highly of young Ghanaian rapper Strongman real name Vincent Kweku Osei.

The boss of Black Avenue Muzik and Club ONXY for many years now had not paid attention to the Next Big Thing In Gh reality show winner. Right after the rapper, songwriter and record producer listened to one of the many songs of Strongman over the weekend, he took to twitter to wax lyrical about him.

D-Black’s tweet proved that he was really impressed with Strongman’s works. To him, Ghanaians have underestimated the value, extent and importance of the “Oh Joo” rapper.

He tweeted, “Just listened to Strongman for the first time ! Dude spits flames. Very underrated. He’s bound to blow up “

Lord Have Mercy! This New Photo Of Kyeiwaa Will Remind You Of Ama Boahemaa’s Bleaching

1

Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa has been off from our screens for some time now but that is for a reason.

The Kumawood actress has been in the United States of America for some months now. Zionfelix.net cannot tell what she has been up to in Trump’s country but we are sure life is going on well for her. When it was reported months back that she was dead, Kyeiwaa refuted the reported and told the world that she is in the States for holidays.

New photo available to Zionfelix.net shows a new Kyeiwaa.

The Kyeiwaa we have always known is not the same Kyeiwaa we see in this new photo in our possession. This particular Kyeiwaa looks very different – I mean her skin colour has changed. Could it be that the picture below is an edited one or she’s probably using Ama Boahemaa’s cream?

PHOTOS: ‘Ultimate Betrayal’ Movie Scores Positive Reviews After Media Screening In Kumasi

1
Producer and actress Bridgete & Bill Asamoah at press screening of the movie

Often, movies produced from the Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana have been tagged as ones without proper story lines or meant just for the humour but filled with very unsavoury words.

It therefore comes as a feather in the cup when a movie produced from the city receives so much plaudit from no mere viewers but industry professionals after its media screening at the Hotel De Semenhyia in Kumasi.

Produced by Gyapson Films, Ultimate Betrayal is a movie that hovers around lead characters Boaheng (Bill Asamoah), Tilly (Nana Ama McBrown), Sika (Bridget Adusei Ampofo) and Gyasi (Bishop Bernard Nyarko).

Married to a successful business entrepreneur Gyasi, Tilly is not satisfied with her sexual experience with him and prefers to go after a mechanic, Boaheng who is already happily married.

A one night stand then moves into several sex escapades but as to whether the evil that goes on with the two in the dark will be eventually revealed is another story for the gods. With great suspense, one wonders what could happen in the next scene.

A movie with a story line that one can easily relate, producers of the movie, Gyapson Films, revealed the story was based on true life events with a little additions.

Speaking after the screening, a number of radio personalities, social media influencers and bloggers commended the production for an awesome job.

Ultimate Betrayal, a movie we would recommend, is yet to hit the market for the general public.

Present at the media screening were some members of the crew and cast including Bill Asamoah, Bridgette Adusei Ampofo and a few others.

Check out some pictures from the media screening.
