“Cocoa Season” – Social Media Users React To Amerado’s Abuakwa South Performance For NPP

The performance of Ghanaian artiste, Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, popularly known as Amerado, at an NPP campaign event has caught the attention of social media users.

Amerado performed his songs Abronoma and Kweku Ananse at the event to entertain supporters of the ruling New Democratic Party (NPP).

Present at the campaign event were the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and some executives of the party.

Amerado went on the stage with massive energy and did what he loves doing.

After ZionFelix shared a video of his performance on social media, varied opinions were shared by users.

Some of the commenters said it is a season for Ghanaian artistes to earn more money from politicians.

Unhappy about the performance of Nana Akufo-Addo’s led government, a section of them said the party would be heading to opposition even if they were to hire American rapper Jay-Z to perform for them.

Wan Don commented: “They can call JayZ to come and help them for the Campaigns but still Nothing will change my mind. Opposition Loading.”

Samuel Ofori Appiah questioned: “So people will still vote for Npp for this coming election 🤔.”

Samuel Edmund Mensah Johnson opined: “King paluta is doing so you too you want to do it you are not serious they will not give you anything they can call all the artists in Ghana still they will not win.”

Anas Abubakar Mohammed reacted: “So the thing now turns out to Entertainment Campaign.”

Unhappy, Sam Out wrote: “Mmmmmoooa your people knows what you like so they’ll always give it to you every four years.”

Maame Sarpong stated: “Voting year is also money making for some musicians.”

Twumasi Isaac recalled: “Ndc did the same 8yrs back n Npp is following the trend wow..”

Neequaye Boye also commented: “Cash out season, make the money from them and don’t mind what people say.”

On artistes making money, Ebenezer Diamond Jr. agreed and said: “Cocoa season for Ghanaian artists…. This is the time oooo go for it …don’t watch anybody…U are only working.”

Akuffo Boadu Ababio stressed: “They must do business with their talent.”

Kobby Andy, who was also in support of the money-making time also reacted: “Cash out season🤣🤣.”

‘I cried a lot’ – Selly Galley’s emotional comment during christening of twins

Ghanaian actress Selly Galley-Fiawoo has held a christening for her twin babies she welcomed in August 2023.

During the celebration of the christening of their twins, Selly Galley-Fiawoo shared a heartfelt account of the struggles she and her husband, Praye Tietia, faced on their journey to parenthood.

Selly expressed immense gratitude to God and reflected on their enduring love and the trials they overcame to build their family.

Selly Galley recounted her love story with Praye Tietia, describing how their marriage began and the subsequent nine-year wait to conceive. Despite the ridicule and hurtful comments she faced on social media, Selly acknowledged the strength and bond that kept them going.

“Last year, I cried a lot, but it is all to the glory of God. About sixteen years ago, this man came into my life and changed it completely. I am incredibly blessed to have him. We are deeply in love and fortunate to have something so special,” she shared in a video posted by Zionfelixdotcom on Instagram.

She further revealed that during their years of waiting, she had become pregnant but tragically lost the pregnancy.

“I did get pregnant along the way, but God said it wasn’t the right time. We cried, but God assured us there was something greater ahead. Now, we are celebrating double blessings, twins, a boy and a girl,” Selly added.

Veteran actor, Kwaku Manu has openly stated that there’s the use of black magic in the movie industry.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with ZionFelix, Kwaku Manu threw his weight behind Portia Asare’s initial assertion that some actors and actresses use juju in the industry.

According to Kwaku Manu, just like in any industry, some people resort to the use of evil means just to destroy others.

Award-winning actress Nana Ama McBrown has made peace with Nana Tonardo after meeting at the Fiawoo twins’ outdooring.

Odii Tonardo, as he now calls himself, has insulted Nana Ama McBrown and even called her names in his usual attack on people who don’t seem to side with him.

Well, the two celebrities happened to be guests at the baby christening of the Fiawoo twins where they shared a few seconds.

From the video, Nana Ama McBrown tried to ignore him but Tonardo was the first to initiate a conversation with Nana Ama McBrown telling him not to do that again while still smiling at him.

Tonardo in the video was trying to defend himself and his actions but Nana Ama McBrown spoke some sense into his head before they parted ways.

Star actor, Kwaku Manu has disclosed that he met Obaa Cee through his ex-wife Naa Okailey.

As stated by the actor, he holds no grudge against Obaa Cee.

Ghanaian music duo, DopeNation, has touched the hearts of many people with this gesture.

The group – made up of identical twin brothers, Michael Boafo (B2) and Tony Boafo (Twist) – did something worth emulating by others.

In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, they donated an electric wheelchair to a physically challenged fan.

The physically challenged fan, who is only identified as Philipa, is a student of Serwaa Nyarko SHS in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

She was full of joy when DopeNation arrived at her school with the wheelchair. Philipa was captured dancing in her old wheelchair before the electric one was tested.

Her joyous colleagues were also heard chanting and jubilating.

After the donation, DopeNation, their disabled fan and the students performed the ‘Zormizor Dance’.

In another post, the Ghanaian music duo revealed how beneficial it is to be part of DopeNation.

They made the donation after the young girl was seen dancing to their song while in a wheelchair in a viral video.

King Paluta Didn’t Treat Us Well, We Begged Him To Shoot Just One Video For Us But He Claimed Of Being Sick – Keche Andrew

Andrew Kofi Cudjoe, a member of the Keche music group has expressed his unhappiness about something King Paluta did.

Speaking in a recent interview with ZionFelix, Andrew re-echoed how hurt they were after Paluta refused to post their song with him ‘My Father’ following its release.

If you would recall, Keche Joshua took to social media to blast the rising artiste for failing to promote the song while he has been promoting songs he did with other artistes.

Revealing more about what happened behind the scenes, Andrew told Zion that Paluta’s manager claimed they don’t use the artistes main page to promote songs—but later it turned out to be untrue as they posted songs with Eno Barony, Sista Afia and Wendy Shay on this same page.

He also revealed the back-and-forth they had with King Paluta when they asked him to record a video for the song’s lyric video. According to him, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker said along the line that he was sick.

Due to his inability to record the video on time, they used parts of his ‘Aseda’ video for the ‘My Father’ lyric video, Andrew divulged.

He added that King Paluta later sent a video of him and his friends, a recording of his part of their collaboration, however, he did not post it on any of his social media handles.

Keche Andrew stressed that Paluta did not treat them well.

The actress expressed gratitude to God for blessing their family with twins after nine years of waiting to conceive after they got married.

Selly shared the love story between herself and Praye Tietia, reflecting on the past experiences of ridicule on social media because they were unable to produce a family.

“Last year, I cried a lot, but it is all to the glory of God. About sixteen years ago, this man met me and his life changed.

I am the most special thing that has ever happened to him. But here we are so much in love, blessed and lacking something special.

“The bond that we know this is what completes us and our love and it was nine difficult years, but God did not shame us.

Ghanaian musician Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, mesmerized fans after a video of him spending quality time with his son surfaced on social media.

KiDi took to his TikTok page to share a video of himself vibing with his son, Zane Dwamena at their home.

The Lynx Entertainment signee and his son jammed to the former’s recently released music collaboration with Black Sherif, Lomo Lomo.
