Media personality Sallyman has advised actress Martha Ankomah against falling for Lil Win‘s public apology.
It would be remembered that Lil Win and Martha Ankomah are in court after the latter sued the Kumawood actor for defamation after he recorded a video to insult her for failing to feature in his movie.
But a few days ago, Lil Win in a live interview begged for Martha Ankomah’s forgiveness asking she withdraw the case from the court for them to settle the matter at home.
Sally Mann who is known for speaking her mind on issues has asked Martha Ankomah not to fall for the apology but to continue with the case in court.
According to her, Martha should test the law because when she first said she was going to court, Lil Win in a subtle reply said any fool could go to court and that alone means he was ready to face her in court.
She said: “I am not for the settlement, I want Martha to test the law. I will be highly disappointed if there is an out-of-court settlement”.
Keep your eye on the prize, GH?5 million. It is the price that will serve as a deterrent to others,” Sallymann stated.
She ended by saying that “The law is there to protect us and she also noted that it is high time men stopped attributing women’s success in the industry to sleeping around or prostitution.”

Ghanaian musician Camidoh has sparked a debate by defending smoking, suggesting that it may not necessarily be harmful.
He argued that the impact of smoking can be subjective and that not everything portrayed as negative is necessarily bad.
Camidoh pointed out that while general advice discourages smoking due to its adverse effects on the lungs, there are other activities, like cooking kenkey, which also involve exposure to smoke.
He suggested that the perception of smoking’s harm could vary and should be individually assessed.
“Not everything that is portrayed as negative is negative. Generally, they say we shouldn’t smoke because it’s bad for our lungs.
How about our parents who have been cooking kenkey? You see them when they are making kenkey, you see how smoky it gets?I just want to tell you, you don’t have to dwell on that…It is not bad in my eyes”
However, health professionals have strongly opposed this view, reinforcing that smoking is indeed detrimental to health.
Additionally, smoking has severe impacts on eye health, increasing the risk of conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye syndrome, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, Graves’ ophthalmopathy, and optic nerve damage, all of which can lead to vision problems or loss.
“Smoking may not necessarily be bad, it’s not everything which is seen as negative is indeed negative”
Ghanaian veteran actor, Van Vicker, has publicly opened up about why he did not feature in Lilwin’s much-anticipated movie, “A Country Called Ghana.”
In a candid interview, Vicker explained that scheduling conflicts and an unyielding demand from the film’s producer led to his withdrawal from the project.
Vicker revealed that when the producer initially contacted him, they requested his availability for a 30-day shoot.
But at that time, he was balancing his academic commitments and working on other projects, hence he couldn’t dedicate an entire month to the film.
“I was willing to take the role,” Vicker shared, “but the producer’s demand for 30 days was unrealistic given my schedule. I proposed a compromise, offering to be on set for ten days instead.”
Despite his willingness to negotiate, Lilwin and the film’s producer stood firm on the 30-day requirement, leading to a stalemate.
After several discussions failed to yield a resolution, he ultimately had to relinquish the role.
In a twist of events, Vicker disclosed that Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah, who played the main role in the movie, was accommodated with the ten-day shooting schedule he had initially requested.
“It was surprising to learn that Lilwin accepted a similar arrangement with Ramsey Nouah while rejecting my proposal,” – Vicker noted.
