Doing Gospel Music In Ghana Does Not Pay – Sonnie Badu

0

Renowned Gospel musician, Sonnie Badu, has said doing Gospel music in Ghana does not pay.

During an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, Dr Badu argued that it pays to do Gospel in Nigerian than in Ghana.

To him, this is part of the reasons why most secular artistes are not doing Gospel.

“It is not their fault not to do gospel music, there is no money in gospel music.

They don’t get anything, they are not treated well.

“They just give them anything. There should be an avenue where if you are a gospel artist and if you go to Airport Shell you can pick anything you want for free. If you go to the Airport and you can jump on Delta, you can pick it for free. You can go to the studio to record a song and the engineer will say hey you are a gospel artist it’s for free,” he said.

Sonnie Badu indicated that all musicians and instrumentalists on his shows are paid.

“So this work of God there is logistics for free but logistically there is a price to pay. I pay every musician on my show, everybody has an invoice. Every instrumentalist will be compensated.

“If you don’t have the balls you can’t do it, you can’t, don’t try it. And if you want to do me a favor in return for a favor I understand it. But nothing is for free in this world.”

Some MPs and Ministers rely on Chinese drugs to last longer in bed – Nana Agradaa claims

0

A new revelation from Nana Agradaa claims that Ghana’s government does not only rely on China for loans but its officials also rely on the Eastern Asian country for bedroom pleasure.

The founder of Heaven’s Way church disclosed this whilst she confidently defended her decision to wed a young and energetic individual like Asiamah, citing his capacity to fulfill her sexual desires.

She explicitly stated that she intentionally avoided a union with someone who might struggle in the bedroom without resorting to enhancement drugs.

In her view, contemporary men often stray into extramarital affairs for sexual satisfaction upon achieving financial stability, prompting her deliberate choice to marry Asiamah.

Nana Agradaa openly shared her rationale, emphasizing the potential for a gratifying sexual relationship with Asiamah that could accommodate up to three intimate encounters daily, if desired.

As opposed to marrying an older individual, such as a minister, MP, or prominent pastor, who might rely on performance-enhancing drugs, she prioritized a partner with innate vitality.

During one of her sermons to her congregation, Nana Agradaa addressed societal expectations, rejecting the idea of tying the knot with an older man while simultaneously maintaining a younger lover on the side.

In her words, “Men of today, when they become rich, they want a side-chick, especially women who are beautiful and endowed, and neglect their wives. As for me, I won’t marry an old man and add a side man too. I will take the right person now.

Like I could have gone to marry a minister, MP, or prominent pastor and when it comes to sex, he wouldn’t perform well unless he takes a Chinese drug, No. That’s why I would go for someone we can have sex in the morning, afternoon, and evening,” she concluded.

Stella also described Abena Korkor as a kind and loving innocent individual when she is in her sober state.

Read her full post below:

For years that I’ve known and been with you as a Uni roommate, as friends for 11 good years, I’ve never publicly defended your actions, but it’s time people know beyond the controversies surrounding you, you’re a beautiful, kind prayerful introvert.

I remember the mornings you’d wake up early, bath, and listen to Otabil’s teachings on YouTube, followed by reading his books and prayer. Your discipline raised the standard for me because you were just too organized; you meticulously planned your day, even helping others. Sadly, your admirable qualities have been overshadowed by public focus on your struggles.

Mental health is a reality, and it’s unfortunate that our society tends to judge those experiencing it. Some actions may seem unrealistic, but the struggle is real. The condition is more severe than perceived; one can forget oneself, act out, then return to sobriety with regret. I urge everyone to watch “When Colors Fade.” Abena, in her sober state, is a kind and a very loving innocent individual facing challenges.

Despite her efforts, she faces judgment from those who question her struggle.  She gets worried for the things she’s going through yet again we’ve people who will say” are you the only bipolar patient in Ghana? Abena, in due time, you’ll find healing. Hold on, endure; your breakthrough is near. I become exhausted and emotional at times when I see all the potentials in you yet all those potentials have been reduced to ridiculing by the public because of your condition.

I’ve witnessed your earnest attempts at improvement through therapy, medication, and prayers. Despite public perceptions, God is the ultimate healer. No matter how deliberate you see their actions to be, the condition is real and deadlier than we perceive. The condition is a killer of dreams, joy, life etc. I happened to live with one but he’s of loving memory. When his starts, the only thing is to insult nothing else. He insults everyone living in the community including his biological parents “.

This person doesn’t do drugs! When he even drinks he sleeps but when he wakes up y’all in Trouble. The condition is differ from each patient.

Be kind!

“My meditation for one of my songs came after I was attacked with a serious condition. I was sick for days and admitted to one of the hospitals. It happened after I released my song titled ‘Adom’ in the early part of last year. I felt sick in the United Kingdom (UK) and I was transferred from one hospital to the other, they could not tell me the exact problem.

“Every antibiotic they pushed couldn’t work. My stomach was aching seriously and because the drugs weren’t working for three days I couldn’t eat. One time after I took an MRI scan I was not briefed on the results. So I asked the nurse and she told me I should wait for the Doctor. At that moment I was filled with the fear of death. Within a twinkle of an eye, the results changed and the Doctors told me there was no problem with me so they cleared me to go home and start eating. Right there I was overwhelmed because it was by God’s grace,” she disclosed on Power FM.

Diana Hamilton’s disclosure comes after she marked her birthday on December 4, 2023.
