During the recent activation event organised by Prudential Life Insurance Ghana to introduce their microinsurance product, Mekakrawa, to traders and sellers at Okaishie Market, one individual’s generosity stood out among the rest.

Kojo Nkansah ‘Lilwin, a popular Ghanaian personality and brand ambassador for Mekakrawa, took a remarkable step in promoting financial inclusion by signing up ten head porters, known as “kayayei,” for the insurance coverage.

Amidst the cheers and applause, Lilwin emphasised the importance of insurance and its relevance to Ghanaians, particularly those in the informal sector. He debunked the notion that insurance is exclusively for the elites, urging everyone to seize the opportunity Prudential Life has provided with Mekakrawa.

In a remarkable act of generosity, Lilwin went beyond words to personally sign up ten head porters for Mekakrawa, covering the cost of their one-year subscription using the Ghc45 option.

The gesture not only demonstrated his commitment to promoting financial security and planning, but also showcased his genuine concern for the well-being of Ghanaians; especially those who face unique challenges in their daily lives.

Kwame A Plus commends Sarkodie for rejecting Yvonne Nelson’s pregnancy

Social commentator and controversial musician Kwame Obeng Asare, popularly known as Kwame A-Plus, has come to the defense of Sarkodie, who allegedly rejected a pregnancy from award-winning actress Yvonne Nelson in 2010.

In a lengthy Facebook post, A-Plus expressed doubt about Sarkodie being the father of the child, citing Yvonne Nelson’s mother’s deceitfulness regarding the identity of her own father.

Yvonne Nelson recently launched her memoir, titled “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” on Sunday, June 19, 2023, at Peduase Lodge.

In the book, she revealed that she had aborted a pregnancy for Sarkodie in 2010 after a short relationship.

Yvonne recounted the incident in detail, explaining how she and Sarkodie, along with his manager at the time, went to a clinic in Mamprobi to have the fetus removed after an unsuccessful attempt with pills.

Sharing his opinion on the whole abortion saga. A Plus pointed out that Yvonne Nelson had portrayed her mother as a superwoman and even celebrated her on Father’s Day.

A-Plus suggested that Yvonne’s mother had gone to great lengths to make her believe that her father was an utterly worthless man meanwhile Mr Nelson wasn’t her biological father.

Yvonne Nelson made us believe that her mother was a superwoman, she even celebrated her mother on Father’s Day. Her mother did everything to make her believe that her father was the most useless man on earth.

On his sick bed, the man told his part of the story, revealing to her that he is not her father. She therefore had a DNA test and it was confirmed, according to her that yes, the “Satan” was not her father. Her “real” father was Peter Adjetey, the former speaker of Parliament. That one too the DNA machine was “faulty” so the “real was not realing.” Na asɛm bɛn koraa ni?

And you expected Sarkodie, a young up-and-coming guy to accept a pregnancy from someone who was showing some of her mother’s characteristics.

Sark, you made the best decision!!! If you had accepted that pregnancy, the book today would have read, “Sarkodee is not my son/daughter’s father. The real father is Inyanya” or one of her many boyfriends.

Her mother played the victim to make an innocent man look bad even when she knew the real father of her daughter. This is exactly who these daughters of Eve are.

This gender…. Very wicked!

“I regret taking a picture with Nana Addo” – Yvonne Nelson reveals

Yvonne Nelson has recently her regret over posing for a photograph with H.E. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo following his victory in the 2016 elections.

Yvonne, who played a leading role in organizing the “Dumsor Must Stop” vigil in 2015 to protest the energy crisis and other issues, initially believed that the change in power in 2016 would bring hope, as Akufo-Addo was portrayed as being “incorruptible” and a potential solution to combat corruption.

However, her perspective has since evolved, leading to her regret regarding the aforementioned photo.

In her memoir titled “I AM NOT YVONNE NELSON”, she wrote…

A year later, the opposition NPP and its candidate won the 2016 election. The power crisis and its effects were a major sin of the incumbent National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Dumsor had resulted in job losses and dealt a deadly blow to the small-scale enterprises that depended on electricity but could not afford alternative sources of power.

Even though the NDC administration resolved the crises at a huge cost and through shady procurement deals, the victims of dumsor, corruption, and mismanagement could not forgive the party at the presidential and parliamentary polls,” she writes.

This hope for a change encouraged Yvonne to visit the president-elect, Akufo-Addo alongside some of her friends to extend their congratulatory wishes.

Yvonne was captured in a photo with Akufo-Addo during her visit, and she regrets taking that photo terribly.

“The NPP, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, won massively in both the presidential and parliamentary elections. Some friends and I went to congratulate the president-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo, with whom we took a photograph. It is a photograph I regret taking,” Yvonne laments.

Yvonne added that Akufo-Addo has turned out to be a “monumental disappointment.”

“He was said to be incorruptible, and Ghanaians thought he was going to be the antidote to mass stealing at the highest level, which is euphemized as corruption.

Unfortunately for Ghana and those who trusted in him, he has turned out to be a monumental disappointment whose government’s unbridled borrowing, corruption, and reckless spending plunged the nation into economic dumsor,” she writes.

Afia thinks the book has disgraced Yvonne’s mother.

She wrote: “Writing a book to wash your dirty linen in public is NOT boldness but childishness at the highest degree(done that and outgrown it) Who in his or her right thinking mind will write a book to disrespect her mother….”If I don’t know the real father of my children,if any of my children have to do a DNA to ascertain their paternity, then I the promiscuous mother should be ashamed of myself literally an Ashawo is even better.

Couldn’t you have done that in private, with your family, or probably a pastor/ counsellor??
And we have grown IDIOTS who will gather at the comment section to defend this shameful act…those applauding you today will remind your daughter who her grandmother is.
Beware of the things you do when you have a daughter..

I pray for you for strength the day your daughter will question you about your book.
After publicly scolding a man who ended up NOT being your real dad, calling a family member out shouldn’t be your option. Children Obey thy parents is a commandment from God…So respect your mother no matter the situation cos you yourself have had your fair share of bad relationships….”
