Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has recently shared a captivating revelation about her experiences in Nigeria, highlighting how they brought her greater success than her acting career in Ghana.

In her memoir, “I am not Yvonne Nelson,” she unveiled that a simple act of attending a birthday party in Nigeria resulted in a more substantial financial gain than her work as an actress in Ghana.

“There were people who held parties and were prepared to pay you to attend just to enhance their status or show their class, the array of celebrities that attended someone’s party showed who they were and being present at someone’s birthday or some other celebratory event sometimes paid me more than acting in a movie in Ghana,” she wrote.

Yvonne also revealed some of the problems she encountered with her circle of friends.

According to her, while they would pressure her to stay out till late, they would enjoy a good sleep in the morning while she had to wake up early for a shoot.

“What made life difficult was the pressure from my circle of friends, some of whom wanted to hang out with me at times I was too tired to party.

I often worked deep into the night, and when I was burned out, some friends would want to hang out with me at nightclubs. Some of them would still be sleeping the following morning when I had to wash down and start shooting,” she added.

Her claim that Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie impregnated her and coerced her into having an abortion, and her ex-lover Iyanya’s alleged infidelity with Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh.

In response to the book and its revelations, Victoria Lebene has taken to her Instagram page to insinuate that Yvonne was wrong to drop all those bombshells in her memoir.

In a post, Victoria pointed out that everyone has a story of personal experiences with others, but they don’t go around publicly sharing those details.

So if everyone came out to tell a story of what people have done to them every step of the way, do you think we would be safe on this world or country??? Don’t act like you are a saint when you’re not!” She shared on Instagram.

She added; “We all have mad emotions, we all have blood running through our veins, but sometimes we let things go because life is a battle field. Whatever you experience is supposed to make you a better person while you grow or age.”

Rapper Medikal has talked about his issue with Michy.

Michy confronted the AMG rapper over a statement he made about the father of his son some months ago.

She was unhappy about Medikal’s claim that her baby daddy was a responsible father.

When asked about it in an interview with Doreen Avio at Yvonne Nelson’s book launch, the popular rapper said he does not have anything against Michy.

He advised her to try and find peace.

“I have never spoken about this anywhere but I just want to say I wish her all the best. She should find peace and I don’t think Shatta hates her or anything and if my friendship with Shatta is a problem to her, she should rub that off her mind because I don’t have anything against her. There is no bad blood and that was my first time seeing her and I was surprised when she came at me,” he said.

Medikal finally apologized to Michy, stating that he was sorry if he did something that he doesn’t know was wrong.

“So Michy if you’re watching me, if I did something to you and I do not know, I am very sorry, I want you to be happy, take care of your son. You all should be happy.”

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has made a lot of revelations in her recently launched memoir ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson’.

One of the revelations that has become the talk of the town was her relationship with Sarkodie.

The CEO of YN Productions disclosed that she aborted a pregnancy with the well-known rapper.
