Nana Agradaa Fined GH¢12,000, Ordered To Pay GH¢50,000 Compensation To Osofo Biblical After Guilty Plea

0

An Accra High Court has ordered Evangelist Patricia Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, to pay fines and compensation after she admitted guilt in a case filed against her by Prophet Emmanuel Appiah Enim, popularly called Osofo Biblical.

The ruling follows a legal battle over the broadcast of Osofo Biblical’s nude images on Thunder TV, a station Agradaa previously owned. Speaking in a video posted on X on December 16, 2025, Osofo Biblical said Agradaa appeared in court earlier in the day and pleaded guilty to all five charges related to the broadcast.

According to him, the court imposed a fine of GH¢12,000 after Agradaa admitted every count. Aside from the fine, the judge also directed her to pay GH¢50,000 in compensation for airing the images on television.

“The five counts levelled against her were about my nude photos that she showed on TV. She pleaded guilty to all the charges. After the final ruling, I have forgiven her. I am happy with the ruling because it will clear my name so that my children will not be associated with the videos Agradaa shared,” he said.

Osofo Biblical explained that he had considered resolving the matter privately but decided against it because of previous incidents involving Agradaa. He recalled that he had once forgiven her after she allegedly sent men to attack him and vandalise his vehicle.

Despite that reconciliation, he said the situation worsened when she later made fresh claims about him online and eventually aired his nude photos on television, leaving him with no option but to seek justice in court.

“I could have settled this matter at home, but because of what transpired some years ago, I asked the court to handle it. You remember that some years ago, she sent her boys to beat me up and even damaged my car.

“After that, she pleaded with me to forgive her, which I did. But later, she went on social media to claim that I sold the issue to her for GH¢3 billion. That is why I decided to bring this case to court,” he disclosed.

The dispute between Agradaa and Osofo Biblical dates back to 2021, when exchanges on social media turned into a public feud. Matters escalated after Agradaa allegedly displayed nude photos of Osofo Biblical during a Thunder TV broadcast.

She was arrested in 2022 and charged under Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which criminalises the non-consensual sharing of intimate images. The case deepened in July 2024 when she appeared before the court on further charges relating to the possession and distribution of indecent material.

At the time, reports suggested the images were shown during a live broadcast and allegedly used to advertise a bitters product. Agradaa was later granted bail set at GH¢200,000 with two justified sureties.

Sista Afia Recalls How Shatta Wale Collaboration Changed Everything For Her Career

Sista Afia has revealed that a chance collaboration with Shatta Wale marked a defining moment in her music career.

In a recent interview on Onua TV, the Ghanaian songstress recounted how admiration for the popular dancehall artiste initially made her hesitant to even speak to him.

“I was Shatta Wale’s biggest fan so I was scared to approach him. The first time I met him, I was so shy,” she said.

That nervousness quickly turned to surprise when Shatta Wale addressed her by name during their first meeting, something she never expected given her status at the time.

“He mentioned my name and I was so shocked that he knew my name. At that time, I had released ‘Are You Ready’ but it wasn’t a hit. I thought he didn’t know or hadn’t heard of me,” she explained.

Encouraged by the moment, Sista Afia said she gathered the courage to share her ambition of working with him and directly asked for a collaboration.

“I told him it would be a dream come true to do a song with him so I begged him if he could give me his verse. He told me not to worry and to work on the song,” she recalled.

She said work on the track moved swiftly, with the recording done in Takoradi the following day before being forwarded to Shatta Wale through producer WillisBeatz, who played a key role in connecting both artistes.

“The next day, I went to record the song in Takoradi, then WillisBeatz sent the song to Shatta Wale. Within 20 to 30 minutes, Shatta Wale sent his verse. I think he was moved by the song and he saw the vision; that’s why he hopped on the song,” she noted.

The release gained massive attention and, according to Sista Afia, gave new life to songs she had previously put out.

“By God’s grace, the song was a hit and it influenced the other songs I released earlier. I remember I was jumping with excitement; I couldn’t sleep that day. I prayed over it and played the song many times,” she said.

Apart from the music itself, she further opened up about Shatta Wale’s support during the video shoot, revealing that he showed up without asking for any payment.

“He came for us to record the video but he didn’t take anything from me. From there, music started picking up for me. I was making hit songs consistently,” she divulged.

Looking back, Sista Afia said the journey has exceeded her expectations, expressing gratitude for her longevity in the business.

“I never imagined I would be celebrating 10 years in the music industry,” Sista Afia added.

The family of the late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, has addressed widespread speculation that emerged during his burial ceremony at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Daddy Lumba was laid to rest on December 13, 2025, in a ceremony that drew a massive crowd of family members, fellow musicians, industry players, fans, and well-wishers from across the country to honour one of Ghana’s most influential musicians.

However, during the lying-in-state and filing past, some mourners noticed that the musician’s face was partially covered with what appeared to be a net-like material.

The unusual appearance sparked intense debate on social media, with some users questioning whether the body in the casket was truly that of Daddy Lumba.

Others went further to allege—without evidence—that a dummy had been placed in the casket, claims that quickly gained traction online and stirred emotional reactions among fans.

In response to the speculation, Faustina Fosu, one of Daddy Lumba’s sisters, publicly addressed the matter to set the record straight.

She confirmed that she personally saw her brother before his burial and affirmed that the body lying in state was indeed that of the legendary musician.

“I saw my brother before he was buried. He looked very peaceful and died with dignity,” she stated, dismissing claims of an unusual death.

Faustina Fosu further explained that the partial covering of Daddy Lumba’s face was intentional and not an error on the part of the family or funeral organisers.

According to her, the late musician had clearly outlined the conditions of his burial in his final testament, including how his body should be presented.

The clarification has helped calm tensions among fans, many of whom expressed distress over the rumours circulating online.

Daddy Lumba, whose career spanned several decades, remains one of Ghana’s most celebrated highlife musicians, with a legacy that continues to influence generations of artists.

Family members have appealed to the public to respect the late musician’s wishes and allow him to rest in peace.

Faustina Fosu, a sister of the late highlife musician, has rejected social media assertions suggesting that the body placed in Daddy Lumba’s coffin was not his. She described the allegations as deliberate falsehoods and said they had no basis in truth.

Addressing the media on December 14, 2025, Fosu said she personally saw the musician after his death and had no doubt about his identity.

“He’s the one and he was looking good when I saw him. People were alleging it was a toy that was in the coffin but it’s not true,” she said.

She also clarified that several aspects of the funeral arrangements were guided by instructions Daddy Lumba gave before his passing, particularly regarding how his body should be presented.

“Daddy Lumba said it before he died that we shouldn’t reveal his face and he also didn’t want us to lay him in public,” Ernestina Fosu disclosed.

According to her, the family was forced to reconsider parts of those plans after misinformation began spreading rapidly online. While they eventually allowed a public lying-in-state, they still took steps to respect his wishes.

“People know how to fabricate lies, that’s why we decided to lay him in public, so we covered his face was just to honor his wish,” Lumba’s sister further stated.

Captain Planet Explains Why Romance Scammers Get Caught

0

Following the latest FBI crackdown that has seen several Ghanaian nationals indicted over alleged romance scams, Captain Planet has stirred debate with comments suggesting he would never have drawn attention even if he were involved in fraud.

The former 4X4 member made the remarks in a multiple on X, basing his argument around social media habits and digital exposure. According to him, public displays online are often what make individuals easy targets for investigators.

“Some of you boys dey slack. Me if I be game boy like nobody go suspect me cuz I no go show u anything on social media for you to track me. You don’t need to post money on social media to show people you’re enjoying life. A fish with its mouth closed never gets caught,” he wrote.

Captain Planet further warned users to think carefully before handing over personal details when signing up to online platforms, arguing that such information feeds into surveillance systems used by law enforcement agencies.

“When joining some social media platforms, be careful cuz they’re collecting DATA from you. They ask for your DOB, your name, your country, your passport number or your social security number. They do all these so they can track your movements. The FBI uses social media to monitor us,” he stated.

Apart digital footprints, the artiste broadened his critique to the justice system itself, insisting that accountability is unevenly applied. In his view, high-level corruption often goes unpunished while ordinary people face the full force of the law.

“How many politicians wey you see say them chop money wey them go jail before? I dey tell you people always say the law only governs you and I (the ordinary citizens) but not some politicians. Know this & know peace. Somebody shout POWERRR,” Planet further stated.
