The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has extended warm wishes to dancehall star Shatta Wale over his international link up with American singer Beyonce.

In a tweet, the first gentleman of the land congratulated Shatta Wale for putting Ghana on the world map following his work with Beyonce on the Already project.

The Twitter post of Akufo-Addo read, “@shattawalegh, you do all!!! #KingAlready#BlackIsKing

The tweet is gaining massive attention from many Ghanaians after the president posted it some minutes ago.

President Akufo-Addo is not the only statesman and politician to congratulate Shatta Wale as it has also been noted that Ghana’s information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, also congratulated Shatta Wale.

The vice presidential hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, earlier today also congratulated Shatta Wale over the feat.

This is not the first time that Akufo-Addo has made a tweet about Shatta Wale. It would be remembered that in 2017, he wished Shatta Wale a happy birthday and extended an invitation for him to visit the Flagstaff House.
