The first wife of the late Ghanaian music legend, Daddy Lumba, has returned to Ghana from her base in Germany to join the bereaved family in mourning his passing.

Madam Akosua Serwaa, who was married to Daddy Lumba for over three decades, was seen at the Highlife icon’s East Legon residence on Friday, August 1, 2025.

According to reports, Madam Akosua Serwaa landed in Ghana on the night of Thursday, July 31, and made her first public appearance today, August 1, 2025.

She was accompanied by businessman and long-time friend of Daddy Lumba, Kennedy Agyapong of Kenpong Travel and Tours.

Photos and videos of her visit shared online has Madam Serwaa dressed in full mourning attire, a black kaba and skirt with a matching head wrap.

She joined family members and sympathizers to grieve the loss of the music legend.

Until his death, Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, had been living with his current wife, Priscilla Ofori Atta, popularly known as Odo Broni.

The iconic singer passed away in the early hours of Saturday, July 26, 2025, after a brief illness. His death was confirmed in an official statement issued by his legal counsel, Fati Ali Yallah, on behalf of the family.
