Actress Gloria Agyemang has lamented how Accra-based actors treat their colleagues from Kumawood.
She told Zion Felix in an interview on the ‘Uncut Show’ that they mostly disrespect them when they meet.
According to her, the Accra actors have a notion that Kumawood actors know nothing about the job and they always see themselves as superiors over them.
Gloria Agyemang revealed some movie producers also helped these actors to look down on their counterparts from Kumawood.
She said the treatment given to them when they are on set is different from what Kumawood actors receive.
The actress recounted how Kumawood actors were sleeping on the floor while their colleagues from Accra were given nice hotels to pass their nights when they met on a movie set some years ago.

In an instance where they would be given a room, they have to share it with many of their colleagues.
Gloria stated that most of her colleagues didn’t give up because of the passion they have for their work.
