Ghanaian music star, Black Sherif, has stirred conversation online after sharing his candid views on the popular concept of love languages during an appearance on Joy FM’s Personality Profile.
Known for his reflective personality and emotionally driven music, the artist expressed skepticism about the widely accepted relationship framework, suggesting it may not be as authentic as many believe.
“I Feel That Thing Is a Propaganda”
When asked about his love language, Black Sherif responded with doubt, questioning the legitimacy and origins of the idea.
“My love language? I feel that thing is propaganda,” he said.
He further challenged the growing prominence of the topic in modern relationships, asking, “Since when they start to ask this question?”
Despite his skepticism, the musician offered a playful perspective on what he might personally prefer.
“I like swagger, so maybe I like gifts,” he said, hinting at an appreciation for material expressions while maintaining a humorous tone.
Black Sherif also referenced the commonly known categories associated with love languages, including acts of service, physical touch, and words of affirmation.
However, his delivery suggested a level of detachment from fully embracing the concept.
“They say it is five. Acts of service. Physical touch. Words of affirmation,” he noted.
Drawing from his career, he added, “You know, I literally made a whole career out of words,” subtly linking his artistry to one of the recognized forms of emotional expression.
