One of the wealthiest royals in the making is HRH (His Royal Highness) Yah’Kwame Nii Ayi Amaa Blackwell (Yahu Blackwell).

He is the first Osu Noryaa Mantse and Asafoiatse from the 400-year African diaspora. Enstooled by the Osu Paramount Stool — HRM (His Royal Majesty) Norte Nii Nortey Owuo IV.

The newly enstooled Ga chief ancestors were purchased from the Osu Slave Castle (Ghana) and were later sold in Yorktown, Virginia (USA). Ga royals were sold and later renamed by the Blackwell Plantation Owners.

    Born a slave — December 18th, 1833 in (died 1910 in Baltimore, MD USA) | he escaped slavery in Northumberland County (VA) when the Union troops came. He made his way to Baltimore, and by September enlisted in the “Revenue Cutter Service”. There he served from September to the summer of 1865.

Royston Blackwell had two marriages, fathering 23 children (all together).

The Chief is “lineal” from Royston’s “second marriage” in 1884 (Maria Luisa Robb). She was born 1862 in Essex county Virginia (she was 29 years younger then him) — boring 6 children together (2 died / 4 lived).

The chief is building his wealth in Ghana through established investments within the United States. Aside from his professional boxing career, he is a restaurant owner of National franchise brands such as;

  • Mc Donald’s

He is also the founder and owner of HEWALE ENERGY, as well as a global commodity and real estate investor.

2024 the Noryaa Mantse (Yahu Blackwell) is negotiating a deal with the world renowned global franchise chain “McDonalds”.

He is looking to make history by build Ghana’s first McDonalds (Accra).

Sources say, the chief will be fighting again (professional boxing) on March 22nd, 2024 for the WBC, WBA, and WBA regional championships, and is also eyeing a mega boxing event later in Ghana.
