Zionfelix.net can exclusively confirm that actress Helen Omaboe, a very known face on the Ghanaian movie screens, has been contracted by one of the biggest telenovela productions houses in India, Bollywood Zee World, to be part of its latest production which is currently underway.

The move by the Indian production house is basically aimed at making Africans, who are currently enjoying their many telenovelas on their TV screens to get a first-hand feel of how the production is done by engaging some of the actors and actresses from these African countries to act in one of such telenovelas zionfelix.net can add.

The upcoming telenovela will feature a cross-section of actors and actresses from many of the African countries. Helen Omaboe revealed in a short conversation with zionfelix.net from India that the cast of the telenovela will be drawn from African countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and a few others. On the Ghanaian front, Fred Amugi, Adomaa, and Helen Omaboe herself will be fully represented in the movie.

The shooting and production of this first ever Bollywood telenovela which features African actors and actresses is expected to take relatively about three months.
