Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Joselyn Dumas has taken to Twitter to express her disappointment in the 275 elected member of parliament in Ghana.

Her tweet follows the disagreements and petty fights among elected MPs in the august house on Thursday morning.

From late last night, the election for the new speaker of parliament and the inauguration of the eighth parliament started earnest.

For many people who monitored the proceedings on TV, they had the expectations that the event will be smooth.

However, that was not to be the case as live videos that emerged from the house saw some of the honorable members of parliament fighting among themselves as tho they were at a war zone.

Against this backdrop, Joselyn Dumas took to Twitter to state that she was very shocked that these MPs who have children will fight despite all the respect Ghanaians have for them.

“Grown educated individuals with children, fighting! in one of the highest law-making space in our country. Ghana is highly revered for our respect for the seat of government, democratic system & impeccable composure in Parliament. I am soo disappointed! #7thTo8thParliament”, she wrote.
