He Is Not Even Handsome – Amerado Jabs Kofi Mole As He Explains What Caused Their Beef

0

Years after their online banter made headlines, rapper Amerado has finally shed light on the root of his fallout with fellow artiste Kofi Mole.

In a recent interview with ZionFelix, the “Kwaku Ananse” hitmaker revealed that the beef stemmed from Mole’s unexpected absence from a planned video shoot, despite initially agreeing to participate.

According to Amerado, he had written Mole’s verse and only needed him to show up and perform it. When Mole failed to appear, Amerado was forced to take on a double role in the video, which he said added significant stress to the project.

What truly sparked the conflict, however, was Mole’s decision to insult him on Twitter, now X, following the incident. That public slight, Amerado said, was the final straw.

Half-joking, he added that he would have confronted Mole if he had caught him at the time, bragging that the entire Lakeside area “belongs to my grandparent.”

Still, Amerado emphasized that there’s no lingering bad blood. “It was all fun,” he said, adding that he’s genuinely happy to see Kofi Mole back in the spotlight with a trending song.

Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif has drawn a clear line between artistry and trends, revealing that he deliberately avoids singing about sex and women in his music, not because he can’t, but because he believes he has something more profound to offer.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the award-winning musician explained that his creative process is driven by intention, rooted in life experiences and deeper truths he wants to share.

“I don’t write songs about women or sex because I have more important things to say. My goal is to connect with people through messages they can relate to—real-life struggles, sacrifices, dreams and victories. I believe that’s the kind of music that stands the test of time,” he asserted.

For Black Sherif, music is a medium of storytelling, not a playground for passing fads. His lyrics are crafted to resonate with emotion and meaning, not just momentary buzz.

Although the award ultimately went to Nigeria’s Ayra Starr, Black Sherif remained optimistic and grateful.

“This is just the beginning. I’m proud of how far we’ve come, but I know we’re going even further. The dream is big, and I’m just getting started,” he said.
