Ohemaa Jacky and Bro. Sammy’s pregnancy saga, which has been in the public domain for months now will be ending any moment from now.

The female singer after telling the world what happened between them had a verbal war with Kofi Nkosuo, Sammy’s manager on Vision 1 FM in Accra. Weeks after their combat on radio, Nkosuo in an interview with Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brumnch2Lunch entertainment show apologised for the insults he rained on the female gospel musician. To him, he shouldn’t have faced the lady on radio when she visited Vision 1 FM to disgrace his artiste.

Sista Afia & Zionfelix

Highlife singer Sista Afia was detained at the airport in 2016 when she arrived in UK but she never mentioned it to anyone.

Months after the incident happened, the singer who is currently promoting her latest single, Jeje which features Shatta Wale has recounted her ordeal in an interview with Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brnch2Lunch entertainment show.

The nurse telling her unpleasant and prolonged experience disclosed that she sold her Benz car to certain people who later used it for robbery.

According to her, the new owners did not change particulars of the car into their name before the theft case so the car still had her name as the owner.

She added that police detained her at the airport as soon as she landed in UK from Ghana to query her about the robbery because on paper, she still owned the car. Hours after cross-examining her, they gave her the green light to go since she was not in the country when the robbery happened.

Gospel musicians at Adom FM for Jerry Justice’s birthday party

The name “Bro. Sammy” is one that has been mentioned on countless entertainment platforms for the past weeks.

He became the talk of the town following Ohemaa Jacky’s constant talk about their pregnancy which happened in 2016. When the Ghanaian-born UK-based female gospel musician was jumping from one media house to the other telling the world about their collapsed affair, the worshipper was quiet.

Judging from what happened on Adom FM Monday afternoon when several musicians – both gospel and secular stormed the studio to surprise the station’s drive-time host, Jerry Justice, Bro. Sammy is still that spiritual man we have always known.

Sammy during the surprise birthday event led his colleagues to sing for the birthday boy. He ministered several worship songs and ended with his collaborated song with Obaapa Christy.

Other musicians who were at Adom FM for Jerry Justice’s birthday party were Sp. Kofi Sarpong, Pisie Esther, Erico, Joyce Blessing, Gallaxy, Akoo Nana, Trigmatic, Prince Tagoe and many others.

The youthful trio of Mustapha Ussif, Gifty Oware – Aboagye and Henry Nana Boakye has been confirmed by His Excellency the President, Nana Akufo Addo as directors of the Ghana National Service Scheme effective February 6, 2017.

The 37-year-old Hon. Mustapha Ussif who represented the people of Yagaba/Kubori in parliament from 2009 to 2017 is seen by many as one of the rising stars of the party from the Northern part of Ghana, has been confirmed by the president as Executive Director of the National Service Scheme. He holds a degree in International Business Management from the Anglia Ruskin University in the UK, an MBA in Finance with distinction from the University of Gloucestershire UK and an executive programme in Management Development from the University of Wales.

Dr. Gifty Oware Aboagye, another active member of the party’s youth wing has also been confirmed as Deputy Executive Director of the scheme in charge of Finance and Administration. Up until now, she is the head of Research at Danquah institute and also head of media monitoring for NPP campaign 2016. She has for years been one of the few female communicators of the party. O.J To Return VGMAs Plagues

91

After Ohrmaa Mercy threatened to return her plagues won at the annual Ghana Music Awards following George Quaye’s bribery claim against gospel musicians, “Mayese Wopen” singer, O.J has threatened to do same.

The gospel musician who believes the allegation against gospel musicians is gratuitous said there is an iota of truth in the claim since it is coming from an insider. He challenged the PRO to mention names of the culprits else he will return all the awards he has won as a gospel musician.

Explaining his decision to give back the awards he has won to the organisers, the gospel musician stated that Mr. Quaye’s claim gives the impression that all gospel musicians who have had nominations or won awards for the past years offered bribe for them.

O.J speaking to Zionfelix on Radio Univers’ Brunch2Lunch entertainment show from his London-based residence added that his management has taken back the forms they submitted for him to be part of this year’s awards. According to him, he filed for about five nominations before George Quaye’s “careless” statement but he is not interested in the awards anymore until they name the gospel musicians who offered bribe.

The musician who recently launched his “Obuafo” album opined that Charterhouse has disrespected gospel musicians for long but this is the time for all artistes in the country to unite and fight them.
