Mr Dawuni further emphasized the need to adopt a more holistic approach to songwriting in order to create music that will have a meaningful impact.

“I always try to say that we should work hard to create a holistic approach to songwriting and let our words mean something,” he stated.

Recently, Rocky Dawuni’s lyrics from his song “Walls Tumbling Down” were incorporated in the speech of Barbadian Prime Minister, Mia Amor Mottley at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
