Ghanaian UK-based musician Reggie Zippy broke many hearts on Thursday, August 17, 2023, when he took to his social media pages to announce that his marriage of fifteen years was over.
The “Virgin” hitmaker revealed that the marriage between himself and Edith Ward was annulled by the court on August 11, 2023.
Popular Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah widely known as Lilwin has revealed that he charges only Ghc200 as monthly boarding fee at his school, Great Minds International.
In a recent YouTube video, the actor cum musician explained that he made the decision to help parents who cannot afford the high cost of education for their children.
“Fees are so high in various schools and yet, they are not providing any quality education to reflect the huge monies they are taking.
“Some of these institutions are just taking advantage just because the school is situated in Kumasi. There are those who attend school in Kumasi yet they have nothing to show for while others attend school in a remote village yet have come far in life,” he stated.
He further said that his school is not in any form of a competition, however they are still working to make it possible for students to be excellent.
“My school, Great Minds is not in competition with any school so we are managing the school within our means. As you can see, the school is progressing with the second batch of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) students graduating last Friday,” he said.
The comic actor added that “the only challenge at the moment is that we don’t have enough buses but we are working on it to ease the movement of students from the various townships to town.”

In the emotional post he made, Reggie confirmed that after fifteen years of being married to his wife, Edith Ward, they have decided to go their separate ways.

Until recently, the award-winning actor was not seen in any production in the country because he had a fallout with some directors and producers who alleged that he had become pompous.
Hitz FM presenter, Prince Tsegah, has announced his exit from Multimedia.
The host of ‘Useywetin’ took to social media to reveal his plans to quit the popular media outlet in Ghana.
In his post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Prince, also known as ‘Da Don’, indicated that all assets of the company with him have been returned.

Ghanaian highlife musician and producer, Rex Omar, has shared that he had difficulties with his church community because they didn’t support his music dreams.
He revealed that he even stopped attending church when they didn’t help him financially to record a song that later became a hit.
Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show on August 16, 2023, Rex Omar mentioned that he faced challenges when he wanted to pursue music. His dad was skeptical about it as he thought musicians were poor back then.

Rex Omar recalled, “I used to be involved with the church a lot. We would go for prayers at Atwea Mountain and all that. So, one day I asked my pastor if the church could help fund my recording because I wanted to go to the studio. But the pastor told me that the church board couldn’t provide the funds. That was the moment I decided to stop going to church.”
He continued, “I found someone outside the church who was willing to support my recording. Surprisingly, that recording, which was a gospel song, became a big hit.”
Rex Omar emphasized that even though he doesn’t attend church, he still maintains a strong connection with his spirituality.
