Legendary Ghanaian actor, Fred Amugi, has added his voice to the whole lookalike craze that has quickly taken over the talks on social media in the last few days.
The situation has become a worrying one in the opinion of some musicians who feel these guys going around on social media parading themselves as their lookalikes are making money off their hard-earned fame.
Musician Quamina MP has provided some reasons for which he believes the activities of the supposed lookalikes of Ghanaian musicians must be checked as soon as possible.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz show which is hosted by MzGee, Quamini MP disclosed that he was booked for a show at a school in the Eastern Region recently.
In the wake of the discussions of supposed lookalikes of some Ghanaian musicians and how their activities on social media are wrong, Fameye has presented a different viewpoint.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz shown Saturday, April 15, 2023, Fameye praised his lookalike for comporting himself ever since he started going around on social media like the others.
Fameye has replied to an event organizer who told him some weeks ago that he would pay thousand times what he took from him.
Weeks ago, Fada Promzy, an event organizer, told Fameye that he won’t go scot-free after he failed to honour their agreement about an event in Drobo, Bono Region.
Commenting on Fameye’s car being damaged after its tank was filled with petrol and water, the radio presenter cum event organizer said no one takes his money and walks free without paying.
After publications about his statement went viral, Fameye called to threaten him on phone.

The ‘Notin I Get’ composer was heard asking if Promzy thinks he is the only one who knows juju.
He also queried if the event organizer knows his hometown.
Trying to defend his action, Promzy shot it down quickly.
Fameye warned him to stop what he has been writing about him, or else he will deal with him.

The sudden craze of supposed lookalikes of Ghanaian musicians moving around on social media has started to bother some musicians.
Already, Medikal has warned these lookalikes, especially the one who claims to be him to be careful not to go around performing his songs because his fans might beat him up mercilessly.

The supposed lookalikes of King Promise and Kuami Eugene have joined forces to clap back at Medikal following the latter’s decision to insult them.
In a video, Medikal shared on his social media pages on Friday, April 14, 2023, he questioned the motive of these guys who claim to be lookalikes of some mainstream musicians.
The ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker went on to ask that these guys put a stop to their f00lishness and look for better ways to make money and live the life that they dream of.
Medikal went a little personal as well and directed jabbed the supposed lookalike of King Promise by stating that his chin looks like that of a car’s gearbox.
Well, it appears that Medikal’s comment does not sit well with Rockstar Junior and King Promise Junior and as quickly as possible they have come out to respond to him.
In a live video on TikTok, the guys asked Medikal what wrong they have done against him to warrant all the attacks.
They also asked AMG Business signed rapper if he wants to be the only individual in the country who will earn some money and be able to live a decent life.
The two young men further claimed that a musician like King Promise is not against what they do which is why he has allegedly bought a phone for his lookalike.

AMG Business rapper, Medikal has rained insults on the gentlemen who aee parading themselves as lookalikes of some popular Ghanaian musicians.
So far, musicians like KIDi, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Mr. Drew, Quamina MP, Fameye, Kwesi Arthur, and Medikal himself have gotten some of these guys who claim to be their lookalikes share some videos online to make a statement that they indeed look like these acts.
Others have also been playing shows with the songs of the main acts and allegedly taking payments at subsidized fee.
Well, for Medikal feels enough is enough and has recorded a video to call the guys to order.
In the video he shared on social media he described these guys as fools and advised them to go out there and work instead of sitting on social media and begging for money.
He added that for someone who claims to be his lookalike and wants to be just like him, the individual should know that he is always speaking about money and as such, they should be out there grinding.
Medikal also fired the media houses and media personalities who are giving these guys the attention and asked that the focus on mainstream artists who are releasing songs all the time.
