The Industry Is Full Of Fake People – Kwaw Kese Explains Why He Avoids Industry Events

0

Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has opened up about why he often keeps his distance from entertainment events and other artistes’ performances.

Speaking on Hitz FM, the hiplife artiste explained that his absence from most industry gatherings is intentional, rooted in his experiences with colleagues who only show false support in public.

Kwaw Kese recalled organizing his own concert and inviting several artistes he had previously backed at their shows. To his disappointment, none of them showed up. Instead, that same night, many attended a different event hosted by a younger musician.

He said the incident confirmed his long-held belief that the industry lacks genuine friendship and loyalty. According to him, many people in the entertainment space smile and act cordial but hold negative feelings behind the scenes.

“People that I have shown love to multiple times on their stages did not show up. But that same night, there was another show somewhere, a Gen Z was having a show, and they showed up for the Gen Z,” he said.

Kwaw Kese added that he avoids such spaces because he refuses to pretend or maintain fake relationships.

“I am not a pretender. I’m not the type who will come and smile with you while something else is going on in my head. So, when pretenders meet, I don’t go there. The industry is full of fake people. They’ll see you today, smile with you, but behind you, there’s a lot going on,” he stated.

Akaboah has disclosed that deep prayer and fasting are central to his creative process.

He indicated that he never releases a song without first seeking spiritual guidance during an interview on Adom TV.

The Ghanaian singer explained that his strong faith in God shapes both his life and music career, keeping him grounded amid the pressures of the entertainment industry.

“I believe in God and I believe He makes all things possible. In this industry, people do things behind closed doors and say God did it, but they know it’s not the God we all know of,” Akwaboah said.

“For me, I have only one God I worship, that’s why before any of my songs come out, I do fasting and praying. I sometimes fast for forty days; my mother and wife can testify to this. Everyone has what they do and believe in,” he added.

Osebo The Zaraman Reveals Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s Alleged Chosen Successor Amid Family Power Struggle

0

A self-described godson of the late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, Osebo the Zaraman, has made startling revelations about the late inventor’s alleged choice of successor amid growing tension within the Safo family.

The founder of Kristo Asafo Mission and Kantanka Automobiles, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, passed away on September 11, 2025, after decades of pioneering work in innovation, science, and spiritual leadership. His death was officially announced by his daughter and former Dome Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, through a family statement.

However, the announcement has been followed by intense public speculation over who will succeed the revered inventor, with many pointing to a brewing power struggle between Sarah Adwoa Safo and her stepbrother, Kwadwo Safo Jnr, who has long been associated with Kantanka Automobiles’ leadership.

Fueling the debate further, the Safo family recently issued a statement cautioning the public against engaging with Kwadwo Safo Jnr in any official capacity regarding the late Apostle’s businesses or funeral arrangements.

“The family of the late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo wishes to inform the general public that no individual, including Mr. Kwadwo Safo Jnr, has been authorized to act on behalf of the family in any transactions related to the businesses of the late Apostle or in connection with the organization of his funeral,” the statement read.

Amid this uncertainty, Osebo the Zaraman — who claims to have had a close relationship with the late inventor — has added a new twist to the succession conversation. Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM, Osebo claimed that Apostle Safo chose his daughter, Adwoa Safo, as his rightful successor over two decades ago.

According to him, the Apostle symbolically handed over his leadership mantle to Adwoa Safo, expressing full confidence in her capabilities and spiritual strength.

“About twenty years ago, Apostle Safo said that he had taken off his footwear and handed it to his daughter, who is a queen — that is Adwoa,” Osebo revealed.

“He gave her his slippers. It’s a proverb, meaning he knew what she could do. I also believe that he had conversations with his daughter and gave her a lot of family information.”

Osebo’s comments have reignited discussions about who truly holds the right to lead Apostle Safo’s spiritual and industrial empire.

Ghanaian gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, has opened up about a frightening spiritual ordeal that she says targeted her family through black magic.

She recounted how she and her husband received an alarming call from an employee at their photo and rehearsal studio in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Elsie Lamar. The caller informed them that mysterious items had been placed at the entrance of the building.

Celestine said that upon inspection, they discovered 21 white eggs and a calabash filled with grains, beans, rice, millet, maize, and groundnuts, carefully arranged with a white cloth and a piece of paper bearing their family’s names. The discovery, she recalled, left them shaken and bewildered.

She noted that the items appeared on a Friday morning, a detail that felt significant because her husband was born on a Friday. The timing, she said, made the situation even more unnerving.

According to Celestine, the family immediately sought divine help through prayer. Drawing inspiration from the scriptures Isaiah 54:17 and Isaiah 7:7, they joined their prayer partners to confront what they believed was a spiritual attack. That experience, she revealed, later inspired her hit gospel song “I Carry Fire.”

Celestine Donkor added that after the incident, several sources claimed the dark ritual was allegedly linked to someone within the gospel music fraternity.

Ghanaian content creator, Ben South, has stirred controversy online after claiming that polygamy is the key to a longer and happier life for men.

During an interview on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, Ben said men who marry only one wife tend to face more problems, arguing that the Bible supports his belief. He referenced figures such as Adam and Samson, suggesting that those with one wife experienced trouble, while men with multiple wives did not.

Ben South explained that in his view, a single wife often becomes too comfortable, which can lead to conflict in the marriage.

Ben South further stated that men who choose polygamy are more likely to enjoy peace and longevity because, in his words, two wives would “fight for” their husband rather than “fight with” him.

Ghanaian actress, Maame Serwaa, has said she has no plans to move abroad permanently. She cited fears of public ridicule from Ghanaians if she takes on certain jobs overseas.

Speaking on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, she explained that while she occasionally travels outside Ghana, those trips are strictly for professional purposes, and she always returns home once her work is done.

According to her, relocating abroad is not something she is considering unless it involves furthering her education. She noted that if she were ever to live abroad, she would prefer to stay active by working, rather than being idle. However, she believes that Ghanaians are often quick to judge others based on their occupation and might mock her for taking up simple or service-related jobs.

Maame Serwaa expressed that even if she were to work at a fast-food restaurant like McDonald’s, many Ghanaians would still criticize her, assuming she squandered her earnings in Ghana before leaving. She emphasized that such attitudes make it difficult for public figures to pursue ordinary but decent work abroad without being subjected to gossip or harsh opinions.

Reflecting on her journey in the movie industry, the actress acknowledged that while her career is still evolving, she is proud of the progress she has made. She said she started acting at a young age and remains grateful for the recognition and success she has achieved, even though she continues to strive for greater heights.
