A former hypeman of Shatta Wale, Ara B, known in real life as Rashad Sfarijlani has admitted in chit-chat with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ shows that just like the many Ghanaians out there, he is also a fraud boy.

According to him, anybody who has at some point in time lied to an uncle, an aunt or any person at all to take money from them is a scammer and as such, everybody out there is a fraud boy.

He stressed that the notion that people have that being a fraud boy has to do with sitting behind a computer to dupe a foreigner of his money is what makes one a fraud boy is very flawed. He added that even though it is something he has never done in his life, he feels the definition of being a fraud boy or girl is wider than how Ghanaians put it.

He also in the interview revealed that he lives a little lavishly because he has been working hard for his family and not because he is a ‘sakawa’ or fraud boy. Ara B disclosed that people who are close to him will testify that his family is one that runs an array of businesses and as such, he does not lack financially.
