Lydia Forson is finding it difficult to believe why President Akufo-Addo is justifying E-Levy.

She wondered why he is justifying E-Levy after he led the Kume Preko demo against VAT some years ago.

The Ghanaian actress in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net said if his reason for leading the Kume Preko demo was due to the high cost of living, then, the circumstance has not changed—as people struggle to make ends meet.

She further questioned what has changed for Nana Addo’s led government to introduce E-Levy.

Lydia Forson wrote on Twitter: “It’s still hard to believe that our president led the Kume Preko against VAT (value added tax) because of the high cost of living then. Over 25 years later, he’s justifying #elevy at a time when people are barely making ends meet. What changed? Power?”
