Delay, a respected Ghanaian television and radio host has urged young people not to let the posts of others on social media rush them into social vices.

As cautioned by Delay, life works for individuals in their own time zones adding that everyone runs their race in their own time and that success does not have a fixed timeline.

Throwing more light on her advice for the youths to easily grasp its understanding she cited examples of people who had succeeded at various points in their lives, such as those who were CEOs at a young age, others who had to wait years to find a successful career, and those who had either married or remained single.

Delay encouraged the youths to wait for the perfect opportunity to take action, all of us cant be successful at the same given time.

“New York is three hours ahead of California, but that doesn’t make California slow. Someone graduated at the age of 22 but waited five years before securing a good job. Someone became a CEO at 25 and died at 50. While another became a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 years. Someone is still single, While someone else got married.

“Obama retired at 55, and Trump started at 70. People around you might seem to be ahead of you, and some might seem to be behind you. But everyone is running their own race, in their own time. Life is about waiting for the right moment to act. You are very much on time” she wrote.
