Madam Elizabeth Ngissah, the mother of Ghanaian actress, Roselyn Ngissah, has passed on.

She mourned the loss of her mother in a social media post.

Announcing the sad news on Monday, April 7, 2025, Ngissah opened up about how her caring mother shaped many lives as a dedicated educator.

She captioned a photo of her mother: “Mummy hmmmm…” her tribute began.

“To a dedicated educator, a mother to countless students, we pay tribute. For over forty years, you’ve nurtured, guided, and inspired generations of learners. Your unwavering patience, kindness, and generosity have made a lasting impact on the lives of your students. You’ve been a constant source of comfort, a listening ear, and a guiding light. Your legacy extends far beyond the classroom, as you’ve helped shape the minds and hearts of those who’ve had the privilege of being your students. We celebrate your selflessness, your passion for teaching, and your enduring commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. You are a true mother to many, and your influence will be felt for years to come. May you rest well mummy.”

Roselyn Ngissah, in a different post on Facebook, wrote: “Thank you for being a good mother. Thank you for being a good educator not just to me but to many other students. So yesterday when you said you were tired and wanted to rest… hmmmm. This is a forever rest. RIP Mumy.”

Following the unfortunate news, Roselyn’s colleagues and followers commiserated with her. Our condolences to her.

OB Amponsah highlighted three hit songs released by King Paluta—Aseda, Makoma, and For The Papping (Apicki)—as key indicators of his dominance in 2024.

His comments were widely deemed derogatory, prompting backlash from the public. Max TV even issued an official apology in response to the controversy.

Ghanaian actor, Joseph Osei, popularly known as Wayoosi, has weighed into the beef involving Agya Koo and Mr Beautiful.

For some time now, Agya Koo and Mr Beautiful—both veteran actors in Ghana have not been having the best of relationships.

While the real cost of the beef is not known, Wayoosi, who is a protégé of Agya Koo, has talked about it.

In a recent interview with ZionFelix, Wayoosi stated that Agya Koo and Mr Beautiful’s issue goes beyond politics.

He emphasised that their beef was not caused by politics. However, Wayoosi couldn’t explicitly reveal what instigated their beef.

The actor said only Agya Koo and Mr Beautiful could tell what caused their beef.

Meanwhile, Agya Koo supports the New Patriotic Party (NPP), while Mr Beautiful is for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Rapper Medikal is furious following a comment made about Ghanaian artistes.

His extreme anger stems from a comment made by a guest on Choices on TV3.

While discussing Ghanaian artistes who stand the chance of winning a Grammy, the guest stated that for now, there’s no artiste, but maybe in the future.

When asked, not even Sarkodie, the male guest replied that the rapper’s career had ended.

TV3 shared a video of his opinion on X with the caption: “Sarkodie’s career has ended – This week on #Choices, our guests shared their candid opinions on Ghanaian artists who stand a chance of winning a Grammy.”

Unhappy about this, Medikal reacted to the video, insulting TV3, the guest and the crew.

The ‘Omo Ada’ rapper further told the television station to stop playing his songs.

He wrote: “Dumbass station, stupid ass admin, foolish boy! Nonsense Camera man, everybody for tv3 ein moda! Make una no play my music again. Kwasiafo) ehiafo), mboa!”

Award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey, DJ Awana, known in real life as Samuel Nartey has passed away.

The sad news of his passing was first shared on social media by Kwabena Kwabena’s manager, Nana Poku Ashis.

He emotionally wrote;

“Rest in power, my friend. I promise to keep working on the plan, even in our loss. Team KBKB shares in the pain of DJ Awana’s loss. You made a positive impact in this music industry even when many didn’t know your facial identity awananieeooooo. Until we meet again, journey on DJ; you will be missed.”
