Kumawood Actress Christiana Awuni Goes Mad

6
Bishop Bernard Nyarko & Christiana Awuni

Every rumour they say comes with some iota of truth and Ghana has not spared the private life of undoubtedly the most physically endowed actress in Ghana, Christiana Awuni.

Rockstar as she prefers to be called for some years now has been making news for her alleged amorous relationship with the well-statured and talented Kumawood giant Bishop Bernard Nyarko
The two have been spotted together on countless occasions and this seems to register the truth that obviously the two are dating.
Reacting to the rumour of warming each other’s bed on Hello FM in Kumasi, the actress went mad at Youtubers who are trying to make money off her relationship and insolently described it as an act of stupidity.

When pushed further by the tactical interviewer Dave Hammer to ascertain or deny the rumour, she said “Even married people cheat, so what is their concern if an actor is going out with another. If you guys can’t have more important stuff to discuss, you better leave us alone. I will hunt down any media house who talks about my relationship again* she cautioned furiously.”

This left most of showbiz enthusiasts very angry at the actress remarks as they considered it very disrespectful and abusive to make such utterances as a celebrity with no private life and on top of it, she was given a huge platform to redeem herself and couldn’t.

Obaapa Christy & Former husband Pastor Love

Pastor Love Hammond, ex-hubby of celebrated female gospel musician Obaapa Christy and songwriter has questioned the leaders of GHAMRO why he has not received royalties for writing songs for Ghanaian musicians.

The man of God during a phone-in segment on Accra FM’s Gospel 360 entertainment show called into the show to express his gross disappointment in leaders of the organisation for not receiving a penny from them for the many songs he has written. When Andy Favoured, host of the show asked the musicians he has written songs for, Pastor Love replied that “Maame Joyce of “Yesu Woto me abuoden” fame, late Osei Bonsu, my ex-wife Christy, highlife songs for Kofi Nti and many others”.

“I’ve heard GHAMRO gives royalties to songwriters in this country but I’ve never had my share of it but I have written a lot of songs in this country. I want to know from them if they have all names of songwriters in the country they distribute the money to since I’ve not received a penny from them? Pastor Love questioned

Second Vice Chairman of GHAMRO, Daiana Hopson who was in the studio replying the man of God said “musicians you wrote the songs for should have mentioned you as a songwriter of the songs when registering it at GHAMRO. You need to register all your works with GHAMRO so that you will also get royalties from the song but if you sold it to them, then you don’t own it anymore”.

I Went Blind – Prophet Seth Frimpong

2

Gospel musician Prophet Seth Frimpong who has been battling diabetes for the past two years has revealed that he went blind months back.

The former dancer in a recent interview with Aperbi disclosed that he never mentioned it to close relatives when he became visually impaired. According to him, he could not see for three days but that did not stop him from believing in God.

On how he was able to prevent people around him from noticing his blindness, the ‘Okumchola’ hitmaker said he showed his kids where to get money from on the first day the incident happened so the children depended on the cash during the period. The crooner added that he managed to wash down when everybody was away from the house just because he did not want anyone to see that he was blind.

“Maybe you have not heard but I went blind. I was in my room and wanted to visit the washroom but all of a sudden I couldn’t see anything. It happened for three days but I didn’t tell anybody in this house. I promised myself never to let anyone know about it because I believed I would see again.

When the kids came around for money, luckily for me I had left enough money in the trousers I wore the previous day so I asked them to take it and that is what they used for the whole three days. I always sent the kids in the house anytime I wanted to use the washroom so by the time they will return, I would be done with everything I wanted to do. I didn’t want anyone to see me in that way. I was just praying on the third day and I realised my sight was back” Prophet Seth Frimpong told the host.

Prophet Seth Frimpong is out with the remix version of his ‘Adansidie’ song and it features Bro. Sammy and actress Emelia Brobbey.

He then added that Mr Eazi was introduced to him back in 2013 through an acquaintance in hopes of signing him onto the Black Avenue Muzik label but for certain reasons that didn’t happen. He then signed unto the label, hiphop Afrobeats act Joey B.

A few months ago, D-Black praised Mr. Eazi’s Accra – Lagos mixtape on his twitter handle.
