Kwame Owusu Fordjour, also known as Dr UN, has released a song appealing for financial assistance to fund his treatment for kidney disease.

However, the emotional track by the Ghanaian socialite has, unfortunately, prompted some humorous reactions online.

The socialite, who gained notoriety for ‘deceiving’ celebrities such as Sarkodie and Berla Mundi with fake UN awards, recently revealed he had been diagnosed with kidney disease and diabetes.
Dr UN stated that the condition has affected him greatly, leaving him bedridden for several months. He appealed to well-known Ghanaian figures for financial support as he battles these life-threatening ailments.

Addressing celebrities including Shatta Wale, Medikal, Delay, and Nana Ama McBrown, the socialite mentioned he needs around GH¢400,000 to undergo kidney surgery at a medical facility.

Popular Ghanaian socialite Moesha Buduong has updated her fans on her ongoing health struggles, sharing that she is still unwell following a severe stroke earlier this year.

The update was reported by entertainment journalist Ameyaw Debrah, who posted on Facebook that “Moesha wanted her fans to know that God loves them despite her own challenges.”
Moesha, one of Ghana’s most influential figures on social media, has faced serious health setbacks since her stroke in early 2024.

The stroke reportedly left her paralysed and unable to walk for several months, marking a drastic change for the influencer.

While Moesha previously had an active presence online, her recovery process has kept her away from the public eye and limited her interactions with fans.

Many Ghanaians expressed concern and sympathy in response to Ameyaw’s update, wishing Moesha a full and swift recovery.

Roman Fada confirmed his new position in an interview with Atinka FM.

According to him, the party’s decision to name him as the new presidential candidate was on the back of extensive consultations with the leaders of the party.

He added that Akua Donkor also wanted him to be her successor—so that heavily influenced the decision.

“It is true and we all know what happened a week ago today around 10 pm when Akua Donkor passed. God rest her soul. As you know, I was the running mate for the party’s 2024 presidential candidate ahead of the elections.

“She is no longer with us, so the party’s leadership deemed it right for me to replace Akua Donkor in the elections. So, if you heard, I am the new flagbearer for the Ghana Freedom Party,” Roman Fada stated.

Stonebwoy Prioritizes Commercial Value For ‘Jejereje’ Remix; Backs MC Portfolio’s Statement

No amount of pressure would persuade Stonebwoy to change his plans as far as the remix of ‘Jejereje’ is concerned.

Following the release of ‘Jejereje’, many Ghanaian music enthusiasts tipped Screw Face for the remix. They stated that he was the best fit for the remix, considering the style of the song’s composition.

On the back of their suggestions, MC Portfolio, a staunch fan of Stonebwoy reacted that it wouldn’t make business sense for Screw Face to be featured on the remix of the song.

To him, artistically, Screw Face is a perfect fit for a feature on the remix but it won’t make a business impact.

Commenting on this publicly for the first time, Stonebwoy agreed with what Portfolio said.

Gloria Sarfo Accuses AMAA Of Issuing Fake Flight Tickets To Ghanaian Filmmakers, Making Them Stranded At The Airport; Demands Apology

0

Ghanaian actress, Gloria Sarfo, has accused the organizers of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) of allegedly providing fake flight tickets to Ghanaian filmmakers invited to attend the event in Nigeria on an all-expenses-paid basis.

In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, Sarfo explained that she, along with other prominent industry figures such as Pascal Amanfo, Abdul Salam Mumuni, Akorfa Adjeani, and Julia Appiah, was left stranded and embarrassed at the airport when they found they were not listed in the airline’s system.

Sarfo noted that the invitation had promised a fully covered trip, including flight details and an itinerary. However, upon arriving at the airport, they received no communication from AMAA and soon discovered they had no confirmed flights.

Frustrated by the situation, Sarfo stated that they would have arranged their own tickets if they had been informed, but they relied on the AMAA invitation, which was supposed to cover all expenses. The incident caused her to miss a feature film project, a set engagement, a premiere, and another awards event.

Reflecting on the record of Nigerian organizers, who often prioritize the comfort of their guests with hassle-free travel, accommodation, and even payments, Sarfo expressed disappointment that this respect was not reciprocated.

Gloria Sarfo called for an apology from AMAA and urged the Ghanaian film industry to speak up against such treatment.
