Prophet Kumchacha is facing radio presenter Nana Romeo squarely over his statement about Akua Donkor.

Following the death of the presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party, Romeo said on his show on Accra FM that Madam Donkor was transferred to the Ridge Hospital due to the lack of ICU at the Nsawam Government Hospital where she first sought treatment.

A day after this, Prophet Kumchacha in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net chastised Nana Romeo.

He questioned why the Accra FM presenter would mention that Akua Donkor was having a heart disease.

Kumchacha queried whether Nana Romeo was a doctor or a family member for him to make such a statement.

The leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries appears to be settling scores with Romeo after he earlier spoke about Kumchacha’s assertion following the accident involving the son of Prophet Salifu Amoako on UTV.

Prophet Kumchacha added that he is not hitting too hard on Nana Romeo because of Prophet Uche.

He thinks Romeo is seeking to gain popularity with his statement.

The Ghana Trade Fair Company has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting locally made products to connect Ghanaian producers with the global market.

At the opening of the 2024 Accra Grand Sale, held at the forecourt of the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Agnes Adu, highlighted ongoing efforts to redevelop the Trade Fair Centre.

She called on Ghanaians to support the growth of local industries by prioritizing made-in-Ghana products.

Dr. Adu emphasized the importance of making locally manufactured goods competitive both in Ghana and internationally.

She encouraged both citizens and non-citizens alike to buy Ghanaian-made products, stating that such support would contribute to economic growth and sustainability.

The Accra Grand Sale is part of an annual trade bazaar organized by the Ghana Trade Fair Company, which seeks to create exposure and opportunities for Ghanaian businesses nationwide.

The Head of Marketing at the Ghana Standards Authority, who was present at the event, assured the public that measures would remain in place to prioritize customer safety across all products.

Ghanaian artiste, Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, popularly known as Camidoh, has said he is not under pressure to make another hit song like Sugarcane.

Years after not having a viral song, Camidoh is not much perturbed.

He stated that his songs would get the attention it deserves at the right time.

“No, I’ve never really been under pressure to make another song like Sugarcane. I believe I’ve been blessed with an amazing talent and I make amazing music. So, there’s no point in likening Sugarcane to any of my works.

“I believe that at the right time, my records will get the necessary attention because they are all very beautiful songs. If I were struggling to make music, then I believe I would be feeling that way. What God has blessed me with is a gift so, I’m not being forced to cook another Sugarcane. Not at all,” Camidoh said in a chat with Graphic Showbiz.

He also talked about the value of communication in the industry.

Ghanaian actor cum artiste, Frank Naro has supported Agya Koo following his recent remarks.

In a recent interview, Agya Koo said the industry has not got someone like him. The veteran actor recounted how he was sabotaged by producers/directors along the line due to his rising influence some years ago.

Reacting to this in an interview with ZionFelix, Frank Naro acknowledged Agya Koo’s impact on the Ghanaian movie industry.

“Agya Koo is the greatest of all time in the Ghana movie industry. Because when I started watching movies, he was the one gracing our screen with good movies. He even revived the movie industry. It even got to a point even the Nigerians wanted to work with him. Santo did his best, but Agya Koo is better than him and LilWin,” he stated.

Talking about Agya Koo’s influence on young talents, Naro revealed he was inspired by the veteran actor.

“Agya Koo influenced most of us into acting. People are benefiting from the movie industry because of Agya Koo. Even those into comedy are benefiting from Agya Koo’s influence,” he stressed.

Frank Naro added that Agya Koo has done a lot for the Ghanaian movie industry.

He also clarified that Lilwin is doing his best but Agya Koo had already done what he [Lilwin] is doing currently.

In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, she reflected on her early marriage days, when she often felt compelled to check her husband’s phone to detect any issues.

She acknowledged that she previously raised concerns over minor matters, but her outlook has evolved with experience.

Ohemaa emphasised that learning to let go of certain issues has been essential to her marital happiness. “I used to have issues during misunderstandings because I was naïve, but today I don’t complain. Sometimes it surprises my husband. When I was younger, I would check his phone for anything suspicious,” she explained.

“But now, his phone can ring for 24 hours without me bothering. Whatever missed calls he has is his concern. It takes experience to tolerate these things, but it’s important to ensure it doesn’t affect your peace,” she stated in Twi during the interview.

Ohemaa married her Holland-based husband, Emmanuel Yaw Owusu Kusi, in April 2017, and they have two children together.

Renowned Ghanaian boxer Braimah Isaac Kamoko, widely known as Bukom Banku, has appealed to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, to consider him for a key role in the security sector if he wins the 2024 general elections.

Bukom Banku noted that he has been a dedicated supporter of the NDC, actively campaigning ahead of the elections.

Despite differing predictions from local pastors, he remains optimistic about Mahama’s victory and hopes to secure a prominent security position, potentially even as Inspector General of Police (IGP).

“The prophets have been making varying prophecies concerning which candidate would win the 2024 general elections.

For me, I know Mahama will be the victor. I pray he wins so that he can give me the IGP position,” he stated in Twi during an interview with Asempa FM.

Bukom Banku added that although he lacks formal experience in the police service, he is confident in his ability to promote peace and orderliness in Ghana. “The role does not need much paperwork.

The ultimate objective is to ensure there is peace in the country. There will be no noise in the country, and there will be orderliness. The fact that I have not been to the police does not mean I am not qualified for the role,” he asserted.

Roman Fada, known in private life as Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, has confirmed his readiness to take over as the flagbearer of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), after the death of Akua Donkor.

Akua Donkor, the flagbearer of the party, died on Monday day night.

Her demise occurred at the Ridge Hospital in Accra after she transferred from the Nsawam Government Hospital.

Confirming Madam Donkor’s death, Roman Fada revealed she fell sick on Saturday, October 26, 2024, after being sent to the Nsawam Government Hospital, he said she was treated and discharged.

Following the sad news, Fada told Angel FM that he is ready to lead the GFP in the 2024 election if the law requires it.

Ghanaian radio presenter, Abdul Karim, well-known as Nana Romeo, has made a sad disclosure about the circumstances leading to the death of Akua Donkor.

Reports about the death of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) founder surfaced online in the early hours of Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

After a family source confirmed her demise, it was revealed that Madam Donkor passed on Monday night at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, also known as Ridge Hospital, in Accra.

This was after she first sought medical attention at the Nsawam Government Hospital in the Eastern Region for respiratory issues before being referred to Ridge Hospital in Accra where she died.

Speaking on his show on Accra FM, Nana Romeo in a video sighted by Zionfelix.net gave details about why Akua Donkor was transferred to the Ridge Hospital.

According to him, the GFP founder was transferred from the Nsawam Government Hospital due to the lack of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the facility.

If not for this unfortunate situation, he thinks Akua Donkor would have survived.

Looking at the bad road network from Nsawam to Accra, Romeo was concerned about how someone fighting for her life would be comfortable while being transported to the referred hospital.

Nana Romeo also raised concerns about inadequate beds at most health facilities in the country.
