Kofi Kinaata jubilates as Otumfuo praises his insightful lyrics

Ghanaian highlife musician Kofi Kinaata was mentioned in Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s speech at the General Conference of the Ghana Bar Association.

During his address, the Asantehene referenced the phrase “Obi nya waye” from Kofi Kinaata’s hit song ‘Susuka’ to underscore the importance of appreciating Ghana.

He emphasized that despite the nation’s challenges, many countries aspire to be like Ghana, urging citizens to reflect on Kofi Kinaata’s insightful lyrics.

He stated that the wisdom of musicians like Kofi Kinaata is remarkable. The Asantehene remarked;

 “I can think of many countries that look up to Ghana and wish they were just like us. Sometimes listen to the wisdom of our musicians and reflect on a piece like Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Obi nya waye,’ which means ‘Someone wishes they were like you.”

Kofi Kinaata, thrilled by the mention, shared the Asantehene’s praise on social media with the caption, “Auntie Ama eeiii… I have made it!! #KofiOOKofi.”

His colleagues flooded the comments to celebrate this significant recognition from the Otumfuo.

Ghanaian comic actor Dr Likee has addressed the future of his acting career after recently hinting at retirement.

In an interview with Poleeno Multimedia, Dr Likee dismissed claims that he has planned to retire from the movie industry.

The comic actor stated that he has not quit acting and is still involved in making movies with his colleagues.

He said: “We are working. I haven’t started today but I am still working.” He also shared his thoughts about his brother, gospel musician Broda Sammy’s latest Ebebam gospel song.

He praised Broda Sammy for his musical exploits and acknowledged the song’s unique and compelling message.

Dr Likee recently made the headlines after hinting at retirement from the movie industry in an interview following his return from the UK with his protégé, Kyekyeku.

The comic actor expressed frustration with the attitudes of some of his protégés, who do not listen to his advice.

Dr Likee also shared that he had not uploaded any content to his YouTube channel for over a year and emphasized his need to focus on himself.

Ghanaian comic actor Kwaku Manu has responded to recent rumours that he is romantically involved with another woman following his ex-wife’s marriage

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the Kumawood movie star stated that he had seen speculations about an alleged involvement with a mystery woman on social media.

Kwaku Manu, whose ex-wife Diane Naa Okailey recently married a white man abroad, denied rumours that he was in a romantic relationship or had secretly married another woman

“I have seen a picture of me and a lady, alleged to be my wife or girlfriend, circulated by people on social media. There is nothing like that. There is no truth in the rumours.”

The actor said he had initially planned to ignore the rumours online but decided to address them after receiving many phone calls from his loved ones, who thought they were true. He noted that he has no connection with his alleged romantic partner.

Since the restaurant started operating, Efia Odo has been out there claiming to be the sole owner of the restaurant challenging anyone who can prove her wrong to come forward.

Well, her fans woke up this morning to hear rumours of Efia Odo being kicked out of the restaurant by the actual owner.

These rumours shocked people as Efia Odo who recently ventured into music has on several occasions bragged about being the owner of the place.

According to a source, Efia Odo was just made the manager of the place and not the owner as she had always claimed on social media and during interviews.

Well, in reacting to the rumours, Efia Odo went on her official X page to announce that she is no longer affiliated with the brand.

She posted: “I’m no longer affiliated with Eats Avenue, Eat at your own risk ??. Thank you ??”

Ofori Amponsah Says The Youth Will Be Big Losers If Bawumia Does Not Win The 2024 Elections

Ghanaian Highlife musician, Ofori Amponsah, has made an eye-popping statement ahead of the 2024 elections in Ghana.

He touted Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as the befitting candidate to lead Ghana.

Speaking at the ‘Boys Boys’ gathering organised by Sammi Awuku in Accra, the ‘Emmanuela’ singer urged the youth to vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer.

He asserted that the youth will be losing big if Dr Bawumia does not win the upcoming election.

“Vote for Dr. Bawumia. If you don’t make him Ghana’s next President, you’ll be missing out on a lot. He represents the future,” Ofori Amponsah said.

Affluent socialite Ibrahim Dauda, popularly known as Ibrah One, has revealed the real reason behind the public attacks from firebrand politician and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong.

In an interview with Kofi TV, Ibrah One disclosed that the politician’s outburst in 2020 was triggered by an incident involving a woman who turned out to be Kennedy Agyapong’s girlfriend.

Ibrah explained that the confrontation stemmed from him unknowingly getting involved with Agyapong’s girlfriend.

“I mistakenly touched his woman, that was all. I didn’t know she was his woman,” Ibrah stated, adding that the woman approached him first, and it wasn’t until after their first night together that she revealed her connection to Kennedy Agyapong.

The lawmaker’s attack on Ibrah One in 2020 accused him of money laundering and avoiding duties on his cars, warning that Ghana’s security operatives would soon arrest him.

In response, Ibrah One boldly left the gates to his home open for two days, daring authorities to come for him, and even issued inflammatory remarks on social media.

Chelsea-Abigail Owusu Ansah, a hairstylist from Ghana, has created history by breaking the record for the most heads of hair locked in less than eight hours.

Chelsea-Abigail, specializing in dreadlocks, won the coveted distinction by locking 27 heads in seven hours, 51 minutes, and 6 seconds.

The Guinness World Records have officially recognized this accomplishment.

On March 6, 2024, Chelsea-Abigail, the creator of Yoga Locks, reached this milestone at a lock-a-thon.

Her accomplishments have significantly raised awareness of Ghana’s beauty sector.

“I am proud and honored to announce that I have officially set a new Guinness World Record for the most heads of hair locked in 8 hours. Thank you all for the support, and I hope to inspire others to chase their dreams and strive for greatness,” she posted.
