Singer and model, Sister Derby, is opening keys after she argued with Edem.

Derby made a tweet about a lady being in the trends after dancing with Omah Lay at a concert.

Sister Derby thinks it is not okay for the lady to apologize to her partner since they are not married.

She wrote on X: “E pain me waaa say the Omah Lay concert girl come out to explain. Kai. Dancing k3k3. Youngins, not married, but taking this thing World Cup. Simple entertainment. Jamaicans will be laughing. Boys will cheat publicly and not ever dare apologise publicly. The girl do yawa by apologising in my opinion.”

After her post, Edem reacted: “If you no take relationship World Cup, you can’t take marriage World Cup..One be dress rehearsal one be show…😊 Unless you no be serious.”

Sister Derby then replied that Edem was bounced when he went for ‘dress rehearsal’ at the Global Citizen Festival.

“So you know all this, yet you came for ‘dress rehearsal’ at Global Citizen and got bounced. While you had a ‘serious show’ at another venue,” the ‘Uncle Obama’ singer wrote.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum Complains About Guinness World Records Breaching Their Contract By Announcing Sing-A-Thon Result

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is unhappy about the way Guinness World Records announced the result of her sing-a-thon.

On Friday, February 23, 2024, Guinness World Records made known the result of Afua’s sing-a-thon after an enquiry by someone.

Talking about this in an interview on GTV, Afua protested that Guinness World Records (GWR) breached the contract they signed.

According to her, it was agreed that she would announce the result after GWR had informed her about the result.

“In the contract we signed, until I decide to let it out, they can’t. There are so many things I have tried in the past that I willingly embraced failure (and) that brought me this far. So why would I hide the results from the public? No way,” she said.

“As we speak, I cannot log in. And we had screenshots of it as if I knew this would happen. I lodged a complaint with them that I cannot access their website or my account so they should look into it for me because I need official documents, whatever they’ve sent to make a statement,” Afua revealed.

Afua Asantewaa indicated that her team had plans to announce the result after hearing from Guinness World Records.

“What I understand is that everybody is emotional about this and anticipating a lot and I know that they wish that the results came from us. We were even planning where to break the news when we received it. We wanted to do a press conference and all that,” the sing-a-thon sensation added.

Now, her husband, Kofi Aduonum is urging the state to consider naming the iconic location after his wife as a gesture of recognition for her significant contributions.

In an interview, Mr Aduonum expressed his belief that Akwaaba Village is a fitting name, but he went further to propose honoring his wife by incorporating her name into the venue.

He suggested names such as “Asantewaa’s Stage” or “Asantewaa’s Corner” to pay tribute to her remarkable achievements and her role in putting the location on the global map.

Mr Aduonum emphasized that Asantewaa’s Sing-A-Thon had not only showcased the rich cultural heritage of Ghana but had also become a historic event that drew attention worldwide.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum was having constant communication with Guinness World Records.

After wowing a lot of Ghanaians with her sing-a-thon, it was disclosed on Friday, February 23, 2024, that her attempt to break the longest singing marathon by an individual was not successful.

The sad news came to light following an enquiry by an individual.

On the back of this, questions have been asked whether Afua knew about this or not.

But speaking in a video, she complained about not having access to her account on the official Guinness World Records portal.

Guinness World Records acknowledging having received the evidence she submitted about her record attempt and the money she paid for a quick review were also captured in the screenshot.
