VIDEO: “He Was Living In A Kiosk When I Met Him” – Producer Vac Goes Hard On Darko Vibes

0

Ghanaian music producer Vacs, known in private life as Francis Evans Ackah, has opened up about the bitter fallout with musician Darkovibes, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes story that’s been brewing in the shadows of the music industry.

Vacs reminisced about their close-knit circle of talented individuals in Mallam, a suburb of Accra, where they pledged mutual support as friends climbing the ladder of success together in the early stages when they met.

However, the dynamics shifted drastically after Darkovibes soared to fame with the track “Mercy,” a song produced by Vacs himself.

Expressing his disappointment, Vacs highlighted Darkovibes’ change in attitude following his rise to stardom. He specifically addressed Darkovibes’ apparent disrespect during an interview with Kwaku Manu, where the musician downplayed Vacs’ role, referring to him as merely a ‘studio boy’ when they first met.

The producer didn’t mince words, exposing what he deemed as Darkovibes’ hypocritical social media facade and living conditions, alleging that despite the fame, the musician resides in a humble single room. Vacs further underscored Darkovibes’ recent return to his roots for a concert, suggesting a loss of momentum in the artist’s career.

The palpable frustration in Vacs’ voice resonated as he labeled Darkovibes a ‘sellout,’ pointing fingers at his abandonment of the very friends and collaborators who contributed to his ascent in the music industry.

Despite the discord, Vacs remains undeterred in his own artistic endeavors. As a producer and musician, he recently dropped two tracks, “Kill Me” and “Jungle,” available across various streaming platforms.

1xBet Recommends: Don’t Miss 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League Main Intrigue

0

Who will challenge the favorite duo? Reliable bookmaker 1xBet is talking about the third CAF Women’s Champions League, which will occur from November 5 to 19 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Women’s football development

Women’s football is growing in popularity and winning new fans in Africa and worldwide. In the summer of 2022, the Women’s African Cup of Nations took place in Morocco which was broadcast by channels from more than 60 countries. The tournament attracted much attention, and the continent’s four best teams – South Africa (CAN winner), Morocco, Zambia and Nigeria – played in the 2023 World Cup.

At the World Cup, the only African team that failed to make it to the playoffs was Zambia. The South African national team lost 1/8 to the Netherlands (0-2), Morocco could not find arguments against France (0-4), and Nigeria only missed out on England, the future finalist of the tournament, in a penalty shootout.

The standard of women’s football on the continent grows yearly, and the prestigious CAF WCL tournament provides great opportunities for African footballers to progress and perform at the highest level.

Participants and format

Eight teams will take part in the CAF WCL finals. Athletico Abidjan received a quota as the tournament host, and Moroccan AS FAR – thanks to their victory in the last edition. SC Casablanca (Morocco), JKT Queens (Tanzania), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Ampem Darkoa (Ghana), Huracanes FC (Equatorial Guinea) and AS Mande (Mali) proved their strength in the qualifying round of the tournament, finishing top in their respective qualifying zones.

As a result of the draw, the participants were divided into two groups. Quartet A included Athletico Abidjan, SC Casablanca, JKT Queens and Mamelodi Sundowns, while Group B included AS FAR, Ampem Darkoa, Huracanes FC and AS Mande. In the group stage, each team will play one match with each of the opponents, and then the two best representatives of each quartet will play in the semi-finals. Africa’s top team will be crowned in the final match on November 19, with the losers battling it out for third place the day before.

CAF Women’s Champions League Favorites

AS FAR and Mamelodi Sundowns are considered the tournament favorites. Both teams have already won the CAF WCL and are the only ones among all participants playing in the final part of the tournament for the third time in a row.

Morocco has positioned itself as a leader in continental women’s football and is investing heavily in its development. AS FAR won its tenth domestic trophy in April and is now preparing to defend its African title.

Mamelodi Sundowns have reached the previous two tournament finals. In 2021, the team confidently beat Hasaacas Ladies 2-0 in the final, but last season, it lost to AS FAR 0-4 and is probably dreaming of revenge. South Africa’s women’s players easily qualified in their qualifying zone, scoring 21 goals in 5 matches and heading into the group stage in excellent form.

Will the main favorites be able to confirm their ambitions, or will new stars write a new page in Africa’s most prestigious club tournament? Follow the exciting women’s tournament and bet on your favorites with 1xBet!

I Collapsed 3 times while living with Kuami Eugene because of hunger – Kuami’s ex-maid alleges

It seems Kuami Eugene’s, former househelp Mary has a lot on her chest since she was dismissed.

In another recent interview, she disclosed how she was constantly fainting in Kuami’s house because of lack of food.

Just a few days ago, the lady was in the news for revealing that she was being paid Ghc400 a month as salary when she worked as a house help in the house of Kuami Eugene, a revelation that received mixed reactions on Social media that it even attracted a reaction from the musician.

In this new interview, Mary has disclosed that there were times there was no food at home and she would starve because Eugene had not given her money to buy food stuffs to prepare food and on those occasions, when she asked her former boss, he would procrastinate and tell her that, he would give her cash to buy them but would ignore and step out, leaving her to starve.

All of this is coming after she was fired by the musician and although Kuami has not issued an official statement, the girl has mentioned that she was asked because she returned late on an errand one day and that infuriated the Rockstar who demonstrated the cordial relationship between him and his house help on Social media several times.

“Sometimes I don’t get food to eat and wasn’t eating healthy and that was what caused all of those problems” – she’s heard telling the host, De Mad King who in shocked asked, why that was the case since she was the cook in the house, so she even has access to food.

Her response was; “Yes but there are times that there would be no food stuffs at home to prepare any food and Kuami would be stepping out and when I would ask him money for food, he would tell me, he won’t be long so I should wait but he wouldn’t come back early as he had promised and then with no money on me, I’m forced to starve.

Kuami Eugene and Mary’s relationship was very cordial that many people began to even read meaning into it.

“I was sabotaged in the movie industry” – Agya Koo emotionally reveals

0

Veteran Ghanaian actor, Agya Koo, attributes the decline of the Kumawood movie industry to his exclusion from roles during a particular period.

Speaking on Ezra FM, a Kumasi-based radio station, the renowned actor expressed his belief that sidelining him significantly impacted the industry, asserting that he remains the most marketable Ghanaian actor.

“They sidelined me, and now they blame the emergence of CDs for the collapse of the industry, which is not true. But they will not accept this fact,” Agya Koo lamented.

Agya Koo reminisced about the once vibrant Kumawood industry, noting that his name was synonymous with Ghanaian cinema, especially among the Ghanaian diaspora, notably in the USA.

He emphasised that, inquiries about Ghanaian movies would invariably include a key question: “Is Agya Koo part of the cast?” This, according to him, was evidence of his unmatched marketability and influence at the time until he was sidelined.

“Though I was not the only one acting at the time, any time people wanted to watch Ghanaian movies, they mentioned the name Agya Koo. Why didn’t they ask for someone else’s name?” he stated.

Prior to the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential elections early on this month, Agya Koo dropped a new song to support Kennedy Agyapong’s presidential bid.

Agya Koo has not hidden his support for the Member of Parliament for Assin Central and was quite vocal about the businessman’s capabilities to govern the country after his loss.
