Davido finally breaks silence on reports that Chioma has welcomed a set of twins

0

Nigerian music sensation, Davido, has recently found himself at the center of widespread speculation as numerous news outlets claimed that he and his wife, Chioma, have welcomed twins.

While the musician himself neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, he did urge his fans to refrain from sharing his old photos and videos as a means to validate the news.

A particular video that circulated on social media showed Davido sleeping beside Chioma on a hospital bed following her delivery, and it swiftly went viral.

This led many fans to believe that the couple had indeed welcomed twins, and they began offering their heartfelt congratulations.

However, Davido was quick to debunk the video, describing it as outdated. Nevertheless, eager fans of the music star have been urging him to confirm the news so they can extend their congratulations appropriately.

This situation is particularly significant given the heartbreaking tragedy that Davido and Chioma faced just last year when they lost their son. The tragic incident involved the drowning of their child in a pool, making any news of new additions to their family especially poignant.

Therefore, the rumor of the arrival of twins is being seen by social media users as something of a miraculous turnaround, and they await official confirmation from Davido to share in the joy with the couple.

Creatives must first support each other before they ask for support from Ghanaians – Amerado states

Amerado Burner, the reigning VGMA Best Rap Performer of the Year from Ghana, has called on fellow artists to support one another, just as they seek support from the public.

In an interview with MX24 TV, Amerado emphasized the need for artists in Ghana to set an example by supporting each other.

He believes that this mutual support among artists will not only lead to success but also contribute to the growth of the Ghanaian music industry.

“I believe that they say charity begins at home. When you’re playing football, the first goal starts with a pass. So we are seeking support. How well are we supporting each other as artists?

“It starts from our hearts. It starts from what we do so that the people watching would find the essence in coming in to support you,” he stressed.

He expressed optimism that if artists unite and work together towards a common goal, they can achieve great success.

When asked if he receives support from his colleagues in the industry, Amerado replied that he doesn’t expect support from anyone. He appreciates all his fellow artists, whether they support him openly or not.

“I don’t live with expectations, and I’m one person. I do not live with expectations. Those who support me, support me, and I love them. The fact that he’s not supportive doesn’t mean he’s not listening. Probably he’s recommending me to somebody at the blind side of me,” he explained.

Amerado’s perspective underscores the importance of unity and camaraderie within the music industry.

Blakk Rasta fires Kwame Sefa Kayi for keeping mute over NPP youths’ attack on UTV

Blaskk Rasta is lambasting Kwame Sefa Kayi for remaining mute about attack on UTV by some NPP thugs.

Blakk Rasta whilst descending heavily on Kwame Sefa Kayi, is saying that the host of Kokrokoo on Peace FM is not able to condemn the attack on UTV by the thugs because he has accepted an appointment from President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to Blakk Rasta, the said appointment has tamed Kwame Sefa Kayi from speaking against the rot in the country, hence, his inability to openly criticize the invasion of his own company by the NPP hoodlums.

Taking an appointment with the devil, my brother, my sister is becoming the devil’s agent. I am glad that you [Kwame Sefa Kayi] are a member of the governing party [NPP] because you’ve been given an appointment that you accepted till today,” he said.

Blakk Rasta is also advising Kwame Sefa Kayi to resign from his appointment as a board member of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) in order to dissociate himself from the Akufo-Addo-led government so as he regain his voice to speak on all issues.

Speaking on the UrbanBlend show on 3FM “Now that your UTV has been attacked, you don’t even have the courage to condemn it to the highest level. Saying ‘I am sitting and watching, which means you are waiting to see what will happen. I can advise you. I can only suggest; if I were you, I’d step down”.

Chairman General, the party is embarrassing you, right? If I were you, number one, I would not accept that appointment. Number two, in the name of honesty and in the name of neutrality, it would have been better for all these years that you have worked as a journalist of repute.

“You sat down; we all saw how this nation dwindled into oblivion, dwindled into the deepest parts of poverty and economic mismanagement. You sat down and watched E-levy become an albatross around our necks,” Blakk Rasta emphasized.

Mzgee refutes allegations that UTV’s United Showbiz is now for politics

0

Mzgee, the host of UTV’s United Showbiz, has firmly denied allegations that the show intentionally engages in political discussions to serve the interests of any political party.

She stressed that United Showbiz primarily focuses on issues concerning the entertainment industry, not politics.

MzGee made these clarifications upon returning to the show’s set after a disruptive incident.

A group of young men associated with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) had stormed the UTV studios during a live telecast of United Showbiz.

This incident, which has raised concerns about press freedom, was widely condemned by various parties, including the National Media Commission, the Ministry of Information, and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Mzgee emphasized that celebrities, like all Ghanaian citizens, have the right to express their views on matters of national importance.

She stated, “We don’t do politics, but when a trending event happens, we also have a right to talk about it since creatives also pay tax, buy fuel, and equally seek development.”

United Showbiz is a nightmare for NPP – Blakk Rasta states

0

Blakk Rasta has unleashed his venom on the NPP foot soldiers who stormed UTV to disrupt the United Showbiz show over the weekend.

The outspoken radio presenter questioned the New Patriotic Party over why they are obsessed with the UTV weekend program after issuing a letter directing them to ‘reform’ the content of the show for fairness to prevail and not to castigate the government.

According to Blakk Rasta, the incessant attacks on the show only prove the show is powerful and a nightmare to the New Patriotic Party.

Speaking on the UrbanBlend show on Monday, October 9, 2023, Blakk Rasta said “Now, we all remember that there was a letter written to the station [UTV] complaining about the said program [UnitedShowbiz], that it was becoming political.

My brother, my sister and it came from a political party [NPP]. What is your problem with even a religious show becoming political, especially as a political party?” he quizzed.

“Do you decide for a radio station how it should run issue? Look at the number of political shows we have in the nation. And if that is not a problem to you, but one show becomes a tone in your flesh, then it means that the show is really big and powerful.

“Then it certainly means that the show is truly a nightmare for the ruling party. At the end of the day, we all thought it was over only for us to wake up and be told that there was actually a certain kind of vandalism that went on,” disgruntled Blakk Rasta fumed.

On Saturday 7th October, alleged thugs affiliated to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the studios of UTV and abruptly halted the live broadcast of “United Showbiz” seven minutes into the show.

A spokesperson for the group said we are waiting for A Plus today… A Plus has to explain to us why he tore our paper from the NPP party. We are here, we are waiting for A Plus. We are protecting our party property,” one of the men is heard shouting in the studio.
