Famous Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer, MOG Beatz has taken to Twitter to warn actress and producer, Yvonne Nelson.
According to MOG, the CEO of YN Production has been attacking him in his DM since morning for producing the song Sarkodie released to diss her over the claims that he caused her to abort a baby back in 2010.
Actress Yvonne Nelson has dropped a quick clap back for Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie following the latter’s decision to drop a diss song for her.
Sarkodie released a new song titled ‘Try Me’ on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, to react to Yvonne Nelson’s revelation that he got her pregnant and caused her to have an abortion in 2010 in her memoir ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’.
The Ghanaian social media space is on literal fire following Sarkodie‘s decision to finally reply to Yvonne Nelson.
Recall that the actress in her recently released memoir titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’ alleged that Sarkodie got her to abort their unborn baby some 13 years ago because he was not ready to become a dad and that he already had a serious girlfriend at the time.
Rapper, Sarkodie, has responded vehemently to Yvonne Nelson’s allegations against him in her new book titled ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.’
The actress, producer, and author revealed in her memoir, launched on Sunday, June 19, 2023, that she had an abortion in 2010 after a short relationship with Sarkodie.
Yvonne Nelson claimed that she made the decision to terminate the pregnancy because Sarkodie refused to take responsibility for the child.
In a fiery new song addressing the scandalous claims made by Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie presented his side of the story.
He completely denied being the father of the pregnancy in question and accused Yvonne Nelson of engaging in promiscuous behavior with multiple partners.
Sarkodie described Yvonne Nelson as someone who projected a cool image but secretly engaged in relationships with different individuals, resulting in a pregnancy that he believed was not his.
He further explained that despite being unprepared to become a father at the time, he suggested that Yvonne Nelson keep the baby.
However, she rejected the idea, citing her education as her top priority since she was still in university.
Sarkodie claimed that he then proposed that Yvonne Nelson seek medical attention from his doctor, but she declined, stating that her friend had already recommended a competent doctor.
He emphasized that he never forced her to have an abortion.
The rapper’s response in his new song aims to fiercely counter Yvonne Nelson’s allegations and provide his version of events surrounding the contentious issue.
Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has been one of the most-talked-about entertainment personalities in the country since Monday, 19th June 2023, after Yvonne Nelson revealed that he impregnated her.

“Me self I don’t know what inspires me to write songs when I put a pen on paper, I swear I don’t know and up till now I don’t know but it’s a vibe.
“The last time I was in the studio and I was tired but I had to do some recordings and I wanted to pause so I can relax but as I got the first line of the song I don’t know the rest will follow. Writing a song is natural to me so if I get the vibe with the beat I don’t know how the rest will follow but maybe I get a guardian angel who helps me to write songs but I can’t explain it,” E.L told Amansan Krakye on Property FM.
“What I see is that all is by God’s grace and I have been doing this personally for over 10 years so it’s a second language to me,” the ‘Shelele’ composer added.
“…it is difficult…look at the boys who don’t even know how to perform yet see the amount of money they’re charging nowadays …what they’re doing now is concert party. Don’t you see them? They only run from one point of the stage to the other, constantly out of breath. They don’t have the craft,” he said on Akoma FM in Kumasi.
Lord Kenya’s statement has triggered an online conversation.
The outspoken music producer, however, indicated in his post sighted by Zionfelix.net that he has been an ardent admirer of Wendy Shay.
He wrote: “WENDY SHAY TREADING ON DANGEROUS LYRICS. I have been an ardent admirer of Wendy Shay since her entry into our creative space some few years ago. She’s churned out hits after hits. I chanced upon this video on Facebook and, I find the content and the context, disappointing!
A lot of relationships these days, are going through turmoil with partners, killing each other especially on the side of the men and for a song to have lyrics seemingly advancing such cause, is a source of worry. It may seem harmless however, it connotes and encourages people to kill their partners at the least provocation. Bullet, where are you? Good beads don’t rattle.”
To him, it is not necessary for celebrities to disclose their political affiliations publicly.
“While I exercise my voting rights every four years, I strongly believe that as a celebrity, it is wise not to disclose the political party one supports,” Kwaku Manu posited.
