Trending video of Dr Likee in a heated argument with Achimota Mall security officers

A trending video on social media captures the moment Dr. Likee found himself embroiled in a heated dispute with security personnel at Achimota Mall.

Reports suggest that Ras Nene had diligently sought prior permission to shoot his skit at the mall but was unexpectedly denied access by the mall’s security team, which ignited a fiery confrontation between the two parties.

In the company of the vibrant socialite Efia Odo, Ras Nene had devised a sidesplitting skit intended to captivate their fans.

The scene they planned to shoot involved the duo playfully navigating the mall, showcasing their on-set chemistry while shopping.

However, upon their arrival at Achimota Mall, they were abruptly confronted by the stern security team.

The security personnel, responsible for maintaining order and safeguarding the mall’s premises, wasted no time in informing Ras Nene and Efia Odo that shooting skits without proper authorization was strictly prohibited.

Ras Nene, known for his quick wit and spirited personality, refused to back down easily.

He passionately argued his case, drawing attention to the incident involving Meek Mill at the State House in Ghana.

The American rapper had seemingly been allowed to capture photos and videos without restrictions, leading Ras Nene to perceive a double standard.

Driven by frustration, Ras Nene engaged in a fierce debate with the security personnel, asserting his rights as a public figure and an entertainer.

His aim was to emphasize the importance of equal treatment and fair opportunities for artists in the creative industry.

“We offered to keep Mr. Drew at Highly Spiritual but he rejected it” – Kaywa reveals

Approximately a year ago, there were rumors swirling about the possibility of Mr. Drew leaving Kaywa’s record label, Highly Spiritual Music, where he was signed at the time.

However, when interviewed by Doreen Avio on Hitz FM, Mr. Drew refuted these speculations and dismissed them as mere gossip.

Nevertheless, a few months into 2023, the renowned artist behind the hit song “Shuperu” finally confirmed during an interview on TV3 that he had indeed parted ways with Highly Spiritual Music.

He clarified that his departure was motivated by a desire to embark on a new career path and explore different opportunities.

In his own words, Mr. Drew explained, “Everyone desires growth; you can’t remain in one place for an extended period. It’s about moving forward.”

Kaywa, the CEO of Highly Spiritual Music and an esteemed music producer, recently broke his silence regarding Mr. Drew’s departure. Hitz 103.9 FM shared a post on their Twitter page, highlighting Kaywa’s explanation.

According to Kaywa, the initial five-year agreement between the label and the singer had come to an end. Although the label had intentions to continue working with Mr. Drew in the future, he had already made up his mind to explore different opportunities and not be part of the company’s plans.

Kaywa further elaborated that Mr. Drew expressed his desire for change, and in respect of his decision, they had no choice but to allow him to move on.

“The first time he came out, he did a video, and he was on a train or something, that’s CCTV. I got goosebumps, and that was when I knew there was another guy on the scene, and from that time, I’ve been following him,” he stated.

Their resemblance, according to him, is another thing that makes him love King Promise more.

“And the image that makes him unique, do you want to know? His bald haircut is just like mine. I love this guy so much, and I don’t have anything else to say,” Kofi Adjorlolo added.

Don Little emotionally reveals how he once questioned God for creating him a diminutive

Don Little has emotionally opened up about a pivotal moment in his life when he found himself questioning his self-worth, purpose, and physical appearance.

In a candid interview with Accra FM’s Nana Romeo, the comic actor shared his struggles and how he grappled with why he wasn’t blessed with certain qualities or advantages that others seemed to effortlessly possess.

Don Little admitted that his stature, which is smaller than average, made him believe it would be a stumbling block to his success, especially in the competitive movie industry.

He revealed that there was a time when he directly questioned God, wondering why He had created him knowing that he would face limitations in achieving his dreams and goals.

Reflecting on his early life, Don Little disclosed the numerous challenges he encountered.

He recalled times when he couldn’t afford to have three square meals a day or even find a place to call home.

These circumstances left him feeling rejected and fueled his frustration, leading him to speak negatively about his creator.

However, Don Little’s journey took a positive turn as he discovered resilience and determination within himself.

Despite the initial setbacks, he found success in the entertainment industry and overcame the limitations that his physical appearance seemed to impose.

”Because God created me this way, I was forced to question him and to some extent spoke against him. I made some utterances which i now regret. I was very angry with God because i felt he doesn’t love me and also felt the whole world was against me.”

The actor, who is privately known as Stephen Atanga to a greater extent opined that things began to change after he questioned and had a conversation with God.

Adding that he is now tempted to make ill utterances against God anytime he faces difficulties as he has realised God hears him whenever he does that.

”Anytime things aren’t going well, I recall some of the words I said to God and I’m tempted to repeat them because I’ve realised whenever I do that he answers me,” he hammered.

However, the actor thanked God for how far he has brought him especially in the movie fraternity.

“I don’t see twerking as morally wrong” – Akuapem Poloo states

During a recent interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show, Rosemary Brown, also known as Akuapem Poloo, expressed her unwavering support for twerking and emphasized that she sees no issue with it.

The Ghanaian actress and social media personality defended twerking as a form of self-expression and dismissed any notions of impropriety.

Akuapem Poloo’s comments came in response to a viral video of her twerking and energetically shaking her body during her birthday celebration.

Addressing the controversy surrounding twerking, she drew parallels with the story of King David from the Bible, highlighting how he danced with such fervor that his clothes fell off.

According to Akuapem Poloo, twerking is a joyful expression and an integral part of dancing.

It is worth noting that twerking has been a subject of debate and contention in recent times.

While some perceive it as inappropriate or degrading, others argue that it is a legitimate form of self-expression.

Akuapem Poloo firmly falls into the latter camp, supporting twerking as a means of celebrating the joy and embracing individuality.

My fashion critics need prayers – Kwabena Kwabena states

It has been nearly a month since the Ghana Vodafone Music Awards (VGMA) took place, but Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena is still facing criticism for his choice of attire at the event.

Despite the backlash, Kwabena Kwabena remains unapologetic and continues to defend his fashion style.

On the event night, the Aso hitmaker donned a wine-colored wide-neck top with flared long sleeves made from a ruffled fabric, paired with colorful bell-bottom trousers featuring zips running from the knees downwards.

While some critics accused him of going too far with his outfit, suggesting it appeared too feminine, others even went as far as labeling him gay and a member of the LGQBTI+ community.

In response to the criticism, Kwabena Kwabena has described his critics as miserable individuals who require prayers if they find fault with his clothing.

According to Kwabena Kwabena, as long as one is not naked, everyone is entitled to wear whatever pleases him or her.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, he questioned why anyone should have an issue with his outfit.

He explained that his outfit was inspired by fashion trends from the 70s.

He additionally pointed out that if iconic figures like James Brown dressed in a similar manner during that era, he sees no reason why he cannot do the same now.

Kwabena Kwabena asserted that the perception others have of him will not deter him from continuing to dress in a way that brings him happiness.

In his own words;

“Everyone is entitled to what he or she wants to wear so far as you are not naked so I don’t understand why anyone should have a problem with my dressing. It is better to keep quiet rather than to comment on something you don’t know anything about.

My outfit that night was inspired by what trended in the 70s. If the likes of James Brown were dressing this way back then, why can’t I do same now” he queried.
