In a surprising turn of events, the legendary Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer, Da’Hammer, took to his Facebook wall to announce his resignation from his position Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread.

This unexpected decision comes as Hammer gears up for his final return to the music scene with the much-anticipated release of his compilation album, ‘Upper Echelon,’ slated for early 2024.

Hammer, known for his influential role in shaping the Ghanaian music industry over the years, revealed that his resignation from A1 Bread was driven by the prolonged duration of struggling to complete his upcoming album, which boasts a blend of new school artists ane seasoned veterans even though he started working on it since 2022.

Hammer also shed light on the challenges he faced in balancing his creative pursuits with the demands of his corporate responsibilities.

He stressed that trying to get a balance between overseeing RedEye’s comeback album, managing his responsibilities at A1 Bread, and dedicating ample time to the creative process behind ‘Upper Echelon’ became increasingly strenuous for Hammer. Ultimately, he made the decision to prioritize his music career, bidding farewell to his corporate role to channel his focus entirely on crafting his musical masterpiece.
