“My daughter has a very nice body” – Efia Odo’s Mother Defends Daughter’s Appearance in Sarkodie’s ‘Odo Pa’ Video

Adombi Serwaa, mother of Ghanaian actress and socialite Efia Odo, has publicly expressed support for her daughter’s appearance in the newly released “Odo Pa” music video by Sarkodie.

Speaking on United Showbiz, Adombi Serwaa revealed that she was initially unaware of her daughter’s involvement in the project and only got to see the video after it had already been completed.

“I had no idea about the video, and I didn’t know when she shot it. She only showed it to me this evening,” she said.

According to her, her first reaction upon watching the video was one of surprise. However, she noted that her perspective changed after her daughter explained the creative concept behind the visuals.

“When I watched it, I was surprised, but after she explained the story behind the video and the song, I appreciated her dressing and role better,” she explained.

Adombi Serwaa emphasized that she supports her daughter’s work, especially when it aligns with artistic expression without crossing certain personal boundaries.

“I told her, ‘Good job.’ As long as she wasn’t completely exposed, I’m okay with it,” she stated.

She also commented on her daughter’s physical appearance, praising her confidence and presence in her videos.

“She has a very nice body, and I like how she moves in her videos,” she added.

Blakk Rasta Dragged To Accra High Court Over Alleged Contempt Of Court Charges

Ghanaian media personality Blakk Rasta has been dragged before the Accra High Court over allegations of contempt following comments he reportedly made about an ongoing legal case.

The contempt application was filed by lawyers representing Dr Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple and Sesi-Edem Company Limited. The suit accuses Blakk Rasta, whose real name is Abubakar Ahmed, of using derogatory language against a judge and bringing the judiciary into disrepute.

Filed pursuant to Article 19(12) of the 1992 Constitution, the application is seeking a court order to have the media figure committed to prison for contempt.

The matter stems from an ongoing legal dispute involving the Economic and Organised Crime Office and Dr Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple, who has been under investigation in relation to alleged fraud and money laundering.

EOCO had earlier declared Dr Tanko a person of interest. However, the High Court ruled that the agency had violated constitutional principles of fairness, stating that it acted without a lawful mandate.

According to court documents, between April 13 and 28, 2026, Blakk Rasta allegedly made a series of statements on his YouTube platform that were deemed disrespectful to the court and its presiding judge, Justice Richard Appietu.

The applicants argue that the comments amounted to a sustained smear campaign targeting the judiciary, the judge, and the parties involved in the case.

One of the statements cited in the suit reportedly read: “Tanko is going to the court, where we all are supposed to get justice ultimately. But again, our courts are seen to have some rodents in there who can just do anything…”—a remark the applicants describe as offensive and damaging to the integrity of the judicial system.

The lawyers further contend that Blakk Rasta’s remarks not only insulted the court but also encouraged public distrust in the judiciary while appearing to endorse the actions of EOCO.

Black Sherif Questions ‘Love Languages,’ – Argues That The Concept Is “Propaganda”

Ghanaian music star, Black Sherif, has stirred conversation online after sharing his candid views on the popular concept of love languages during an appearance on Joy FM’s Personality Profile.

Known for his reflective personality and emotionally driven music, the artist expressed skepticism about the widely accepted relationship framework, suggesting it may not be as authentic as many believe.

“I Feel That Thing Is a Propaganda”

When asked about his love language, Black Sherif responded with doubt, questioning the legitimacy and origins of the idea.

“My love language? I feel that thing is propaganda,” he said.

He further challenged the growing prominence of the topic in modern relationships, asking, “Since when they start to ask this question?”

Despite his skepticism, the musician offered a playful perspective on what he might personally prefer.

“I like swagger, so maybe I like gifts,” he said, hinting at an appreciation for material expressions while maintaining a humorous tone.

Black Sherif also referenced the commonly known categories associated with love languages, including acts of service, physical touch, and words of affirmation.

However, his delivery suggested a level of detachment from fully embracing the concept.

“They say it is five. Acts of service. Physical touch. Words of affirmation,” he noted.

Drawing from his career, he added, “You know, I literally made a whole career out of words,” subtly linking his artistry to one of the recognized forms of emotional expression.

Lilwin Offers Cash To Track Down Stations Airing His Movies Illegally

0

Kumawood actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, otherwise known as Lilwin, has put money on the table in a bid to clamp down on television stations he accuses of showing his films without approval.

In a video shared online, he called on the public to help him track down unauthorised broadcasts, urging viewers to monitor TV channels and report any of his productions being aired illegally. He assured that anyone who provides solid evidence will be paid.

He drew a clear line between his current productions and older films he merely featured in, stressing that his concern is limited to projects he personally produced and owns. The earlier works, he noted, are not his to claim since he was only contracted as an actor.

“Anyone who would draw my attention to the TV stations airing my movies without my consent, I will reward the person handsomely. I’m not talking about the old movies because they’re not mine. I was just featured and I got paid. I’m talking about the current movies and series I produced,” he said.

To make reporting easier, Lilwin asked supporters to record short clips as proof and forward them through his social media pages or WhatsApp, adding that even a few seconds of footage would be sufficient.

“Whenever you see any of my movies on TV, kindly tag me on all my social media platforms. If you have my number, you can send it on WhatsApp too and I will give you money. Get enough time and tune in to all TV stations to confirm for me. You can take a 10-second video of it and send it to me,” he stated.

He disclosed that some television stations have already been contacted and given a deadline to resolve the matter, indicating that discussions are underway. However, he warned that he is ready to take the next step if they fail to respond.

“All those who have already aired it, I’ve spoken to them and asked them to talk to their team. There’s a limited time I gave them, but if I don’t hear from them, I will serve them a letter,” he cautioned.

Lilwin further highlighted the financial pressure behind film production, pointing out that creators often rely on personal funds to sustain their work and grow the industry.

“It’s not easy to produce a movie and we will not allow anyone to waste our effort. Sometimes, the money we’re supposed to feed on, we use it to make the movies so that my brand and our industry can grow,” he stated.

“I Love Him from My Heart”: Kelvyn Boy speaks on current relationship with Stonebwoy

Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste Kelvyn Boy has shed light on his current relationship with his former mentor, Stonebwoy, confirming that the divide between the two musicians remains firmly in place.

In a candid interview with Joy Prime’s George Quaye, the singer opened up about the lasting impact of their 2019 fallout, addressing the personal and professional toll it has taken on his career.

During the conversation, Kelvyn Boy addressed the long-standing narrative that characterized his tenure at Stonebwoy’s Burniton Music Group. Reflecting on the period, the artiste expressed frustration over how he was perceived by the public and industry insiders.

“Some people had this idea that I was a troublesome person or a stubborn person,” Kelvyn Boy revealed.

He explained that these rumors were not an accurate reflection of his character but rather a narrative pushed by individuals who neither understood him nor held his best interests at heart.

According to the artiste, these labels followed him throughout his time under Stonebwoy’s mentorship, deeply affecting how he was viewed by others.

When pressed on whether he and the dancehall star are currently on speaking terms, Kelvyn Boy was direct, noting that the distance between them has persisted for years.

“It’s been a long time since that time… How are we going to vibe?” he asked, suggesting that the current dynamic is not one of active conflict, but rather one of established detachment.

When asked if he planned to reach out to his former boss to initiate a reconciliation, the “Down Flat” singer expressed a desire to avoid forcing a resolution. He emphasized that he is content to let time and faith handle the situation.

“I am not like that. I don’t even know how to go about all of this, and I don’t want anything to happen. I don’t think there is a need to,” he stated.

Despite the lack of communication, Kelvyn Boy was careful to clarify that his personal feelings toward Stonebwoy remain positive. He insisted that he holds no animosity toward the man who once mentored him.

“I love him from my heart. It was out of love that all this came,” he concluded. “So let’s just leave it to God, because going back and forth with it is not necessary.”

My high fertility makes me extra careful in relationships – Nikki Samonas

Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas has revealed that having children is currently not a top priority in her life, despite being open to motherhood in the future.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Okay FM on April 29, 2026, the actress explained that while she is not against the idea of having a child, she is in no rush to do so.

“Giving birth is not really a priority to me. When it comes, I’m good and when it doesn’t, I’m okay,” she stated.

Samonas noted that her approach to relationships is heavily influenced by what she describes as high fertility within her family. According to her, this has made her particularly cautious about who she chooses to be involved with.

“I’m very fertile, so I’m very careful. All the women in my family are all fertile, so the slightest mistake we make, we would be pregnant. Because of that, I’m very careful about who I get involved with,” she said.

At 40, the actress disclosed that she has never been pregnant and is deliberate about the decision of who she would eventually have a child with.

“As for having a child, I will, but not now. I’m 40, but I’ve never been pregnant before. I have to be very sure the person I will give birth with will not abandon us,” she shared.

Samonas further indicated that she actively manages her reproductive health through the use of contraceptives and other methods. She added that she also relies on herbal remedies as part of her approach.

“Contraceptives have never failed me and I have herbs I use too, so I’m much grounded. The herbs alone can solve my problems,” she added.

Drogba Of YOLO Fame Debunks Ibrahim Mahama Support Claims, Says Rumours Have Affected His Fundraising Efforts

Ghanaian actor John Peasah, popularly known as Drogba, has publicly refuted claims that businessman Ibrahim Mahama has funded his ongoing medical treatment, describing the reports as false and damaging.

The YOLO star, who has been diagnosed with a serious neurological condition affecting his nervous system, has been actively seeking financial support to manage the illness.

The condition is said to cause symptoms such as vision loss, muscle weakness, balance difficulties, and severe pain, and reportedly has no known cure.

In a statement shared on social media on April 30, Peasah addressed the widespread reports suggesting that Ibrahim Mahama had stepped in to cover his medical expenses.

“False news says Ibrahim Mahama paid my bills. I’m not angry at the false news. To him, this money is nothing. But I’m hopeful. I believe GOD will let him see it,” he said.

While expressing optimism that Mahama may eventually come across his situation and offer assistance, Peasah stressed that no such support has been received so far.

The actor further revealed that the misinformation has significantly affected his ability to raise funds, as many people now believe his medical needs have already been taken care of.

“Because of false news, all real help has ceased. People say Ibrahim Mahama has ‘stepped in’. ‘Stepping in’ means he contacted me. He hasn’t. I’ve heard nothing from his team,” he explained.

He added that he would publicly acknowledge any assistance if it were to come, but warned that the circulating rumours are having serious real-life consequences.
