Ghanaian musician and songwriter, Stay Jay, has argued that most artistes in the music space are not songwriters.

Born William Kojo Johnson, the ‘Yenko Nkoaa’ singer stated in an interview with AJ Sarpong on 3FM Lounge that songwriting is not an easy task.

To him, songwriting is a calling—and it takes a talented individual to be successful in this field.

“Songwriting is not easy…I don’t think a lot of people are writers. They just get the vibe and just do whatever they do but if you want to be a writer, it’s a calling, you have to get the gift from God,” he said.

After admitting the difficulty in writing songs, Stay Jay added that he does not struggle to write songs.

Controversial Ghanaian preacher, Opambour, has called on Dr. Kwaku Oteng, CEO of Angel FM, to call by Okatakyie Afrifa to order.


During one of his online sermons, Opambour expressed his anger over Okatakyie Afrifa’s derogatory remarks, including accusations of being a fake pastor.
