I’ll love my wife more if she tells me she cheated on me – Okyeame Kwame

Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame has expressed a rather unconventional perspective on infidelity in relationships.

According to the artist, he would appreciate it if his wife were honest about cheating because it would signify transparency in their relationship.

In an interview on StarChat with Bola Ray, Okyeame Kwame stated that he would love his wife even more if she admitted to infidelity, emphasizing the value of honesty in a partnership.

“I’ll love my wife more if she tells me she cheated on me because it means I’m in a relationship with an honest human being” he said.

The activist earlier in interview, revealed that infidelity from his partner doesn’t affect him directly.

According to him, when one partner cheats on the other in a relationship, it primarily affects the person who cheated.

He explained that the person going on a cheating spree is rather disgracing him/herself.

“ I don’t refer to Annica as my wife. She is “the wife of Okyeame Kwame” and we both understanding that. Once you get too attached to someone, their actions will greatly affect you. When break your heart, you’ll see yourself crying, refusing to eat, becoming less productive at work. This is not how it should be. If my wife cheats on me, she is rather disgracing herself and not me, so why should I let it affect how I go about my day?” Okyeame Kwame narrated.

In a candid interview with The Beat FM, Timaya recounted the dark days when drug addiction threatened to consume him, revealing the toll it took on his mental and physical well-being. The artist, whose real name is Inetimi Timaya Odon, admitted that the allure of substance abuse temporarily clouded his judgment, leading him down a perilous path.

The “Bum Bum” crooner disclosed that the turning point came when he recognized the destructive nature of his habits and realized the toll they were taking on his life and career.

Timaya emphasized the importance of self-awareness in overcoming addiction, acknowledging that it required a profound commitment to change.

“Everybody was home (during COVID) and there are those young guys in my house who are always so happy. I was like ‘Bro, how are you guys happier than me? I am the boss, I got money. What are you guys on?’ And they told me that they got molly (a popular recreational drug).”

“When I took it, I did not understand myself. I was so happy that I dashed all the money in my pocket,” Timaya said.

The artist revealed that he relied on the substance to experience a sense of happiness.

“How you go just want dey happy? You are supposed to, first of all, be happy naturally. But when you now need substance to make you happy, it replaces the natural happiness. So you have to be buying happiness,” he said

The artist expressed gratitude for the support he received from loved ones during his journey to sobriety, emphasizing the importance of a robust support system in overcoming addiction.

Socialite Abena Korkor has given a piece of advice to Ghanaians.

The mental health advocate advised Ghanaians to live within their means when speaking in an interview with ZonFelix.

She gave this advice after she was asked about the cost of living in the country.

Abena stated that the cost of living affects everyone, but there is something people should do.

According to her, anyone who will live within his or her means will be okay.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Kwame Gyan on Onua Showbiz, the popular Ghanaian Dancehall artiste applauded his manager Sammy Flex.

He said Sammy Flex is the best manager he has had in his career.

The Shatta Movement boss asserted that Sammy understands him, unlike the previous managers he worked with.

“What I want to say about Sammy Flex is that he is the Moses for Shatta Movement. Shatta Wale recalled Sammy Flex was jogging a few minutes to check up on him every morning when they travelled to London for a project.

“A manager that comes into your life and likes to dictate to you an established artiste that is where I have problem with most people that come into my life. I will say Kudos to him [Sammy Flex]…I like people who want to follow,” he added.

Ghanaian Highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has distanced himself from politics.

While the 2024 elections in the country come to a close, the ‘Tokro’ singer has said he is no longer supporting any political party.

He made this declaration in an interview on TV3’s New Day.

“I am completely out of politics. I am Ghanaian,” Kwabena Kwabena said when the host Cookie Tee asked whether he would campaign for the NPP in this year’s election.

His new position comes after he publicly campaigned for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2016.

It appears a lot of Ghanaian celebrities who campaigned for NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo are not okay with how Ghana was managed in the past years.
