Kumawood comic actor, Kwaku Manu, has publicly advised Ghanaian football star Dede Ayew to consider retiring from football, expressing concerns about the potential impact on his father’s legacy.

In a recent social media post, Kwaku Manu voiced his worries about Abedi Pele’s legacy, asserting that Dede Ayew’s recent performances have not lived up to the standards set by his legendary father.


Abedi Pele, Dede Ayew’s father was a former Ghanaian footballer renowned for his outstanding contributions to the sport.

In the explosive video, the award-winning actor pointed out Dede Ayew’s recent struggles on the field, which reportedly led to him being benched in favor of his brother Jordan Ayew during Blackstars’ AFCON23 games.

Kwaku Manu’s advice comes on the heels of Ghana’s exit from the African Cup of Nations tournament after a draw with Mozambique, a result that has since disappointed fans and raised concerns about the team’s performance.

While the actor acknowledged Dede Ayew’s past achievements, he suggested that retiring from football might be a wise decision to preserve the legacy built by his father.

She explained that she went to China to further her education and managed to manoeuvre her way through the country as she did not know anyone there. She revealed that one of her hustling jobs in China was as an English teacher.

According to Aba, she was sacked from her first and second jobs as a teacher due to wrong pronunciations.

Thus, she went to YouTube and Google to learn the right way to pronounce and to improve her accent.

She then advised that we improve the quality of our pronunciation, as it doesn’t help Ghanaians when they travel outside the country.

From her current residence in the United States, the actress reassured her fans that she is in good health and high spirits.

“To all Ghanaians and my fans worldwide, l am not dead. As you can see, I am alive and kicking. God has blessed me with strength.

I am not ever ill. I haven’t been ill. There have been rumours out there that I am dead. Bloggers on YouTube are parading lies. Parading falsehood that someone is dead is extremely outrageous”

“Everyone will eventually die but it shouldn’t be the case that you insist that someone has died when you don’t have the facts.

They’re saying I am in the UK but I am in the US. They are scheming spiritually to kill me, hence the false narrative or maybe, it’s their mother’s they intend to kill.”

Chris Hughton Relieved Of His Duties As Ghana Coach; Technical Team Dissolved

Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has been relieved of his duties.

The technical team of the Black Stars have also been dissolved.

This was announced in a statement after Ghana failed to progress to the next stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

“The Ghana Football Association wishes to announce that Chris Hughton has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the senior National team with immediate effect.

The Executive Council has also taken a decision to dissolve the technical team of the Black Stars.

The Ghana Football Association will in the coming days provide a roadmap on the future direction of the Black Stars,” the Ghana Football Association said in a statement.

After losing 1-2 to Cape Verde, Ghana drew 2-2 with Egypt and 2-2 with Mozambique in their Group B matches.

Ghanaian videographer and editor, Patrick Amenuvor, has made an interesting revelation about his stand-a-thon.

On Sunday, January 14, 2024, Patrick started his stand-a-thon, a replica of Guinness World Records’ emotionless.

He aimed at standing on his feet for seven days.

Unfortunately, Patrick rescinded his decision a few hours after his video went viral.

He released a statement, explaining why he had to stop the stand-a-thon.

During an exclusive interview with ZionFelix, Patrick Amenuvor shockingly revealed that his stand-a-thon was not approved by the Guinness World Records.

According to him, he was demotivated to continue with the official application because was supposed to pay $800.

He indicated that he was not having such an amount to pay—so he thought of doing his own version to get people’s attention and see if someone would help him to pay the amount involved.

Patrick believed he had what it takes to be successful because he used to stand for long hours due to the nature of his work.

Meanwhile, he quit after four hours.

Ghanaian musician based in Australia, NY Melody, has rewarded a Ghanaian police officer for his good deed.

Michael Buabeng, a young Ghanaian officer, was applauded by many people after he returned the missing GHS 2, 100 to its owner.

In a viral video, the motor rider narrated how he nearly lost his money if not for Michael’s help.

According to him, the incident happened at Madina – Atomic junction.

After his gesture, NY Melody delegated popular Ghanaian content creator, ZionFelix and Musician Kwabena Maafia to give GHS 10, 000 to the police officer.

Michael was surrounded by his colleague police officers when the money was given to him. He was described as a humble guy and even in charge of monetary issues as the secretary of the police barracks where he is.

After receiving the money, Michael Buabeng thanked NY Melody for giving him such an amount.
