The 2018 edition of the 3 Music awards, which was the first ever edition of the awards saw an aftermath fracas between organizers of the awards and Ground Up Chale boss, Kwesi Arthur because they rapper failed to show up for the event even though he had taken money to perform.
Even though it is almost a year since that particular back and forth between organizers of 3 Music Awards and Kwesi Arthur happened all over the airwaves and social media, Sadiq Abdulai Abu, PRO of the awards says the organizers have regretted putting the issue out in the media space.
Sadiq speaking at a press launch held in Accra today, January 31 to brief the media about this year’s awards stated that they have regretted that the issue took such a bad turn publicly.
He added that as an organization, they believe Kwesi Arthur is one of the brightest talents in the Ghanaian music industry now who needs the push of everybody and as such, they were saddened about the end result of that episode.

Sadiq further reiterated that 3 Music Awards is still at its infancy in the event organization world and as such, they will make some pardonable mistakes for that matter everybody, more especially Kwesi Arthur should forgive them.
