Popular Ghanaian comedian and actor Dr. Likee has opened up about a dramatic moment that nearly led to the cancellation of his highly successful London show at the Indigo at The O2.

Speaking in a recent interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show following his return to Ghana, Dr. Likee reflected on the success of the historic event and expressed gratitude to everyone who played a role in making it a memorable occasion.

The interview was granted after he received a brand-new vehicle from EBA Motors as a gift after reportedly selling his own car to help finance the London concert.

Dr. Likee used the opportunity to thank all the entertainers and personalities who honored his invitation and mounted the stage on the night. He specifically acknowledged some of the biggest names who graced the event, including Akrobeto, Emelia Brobbey, Stonebwoy, and several others whose presence contributed immensely to the show’s success.

However, he reserved special praise for Nana Ama Mcbrown, whom he described as a blessing from God.

According to the award-winning skit maker, Mcbrown played a crucial role in ensuring that the event went ahead as planned when an unexpected challenge threatened to derail everything.

Dr. Likee disclosed that just moments before the show was scheduled to begin, the individual responsible for handling the sound at the Indigo O2 demanded an additional £2,000 before he would fix the sound.

He added that the demand came as a complete shock to them because they had not budgeted for the extra cost.

He explained that the team did not have the money available at the time, and the situation became so dire that they feared they would have no choice but to cancel the show despite the thousands of fans who had gathered at the venue.

Fortunately, Nana Ama McBrown stepped in at the critical moment and helped resolve the issue, saving the event from what could have been a disastrous cancellation.
