Vicky Zugah on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show

Ghanaian actress Victoria Ablah Zugah nicknamed Vicky Zugah says she will not describe former president, John Dramani Mahama as incompetent owing to the fact that he was not able to solve the power crises in the country during his reign.

Naming one thing she is very happy the sitting president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done after he became first gentleman of the country, she mentioned his ability to end ‘dumsor’. According to her on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show, the power crises was a major problem in the country months back but Nana Addo’s ability to end it has helped many Ghanaians including herself.

Vicky quickly added that ex-president Mahama might have not been lucky when he faced the power challenges in his era but it does not make him inept.

She opined that it will be wrong to judge Mahama with his inability to solve ‘dumsor’ because “something might have gone wrong that did not allow him to solve it during his time” and “Nana Addo was just lucky to fix it during his era”.

Vicky Zugah who was reluctant in showing her political party colours told Zionfelix, host of the show that she is happy ‘dumsor’ is no more.

Kwaw Kese signing Skonti

Kwaw Kese has asked some Ghanaians to stop punching Patapaa’s hit song, One Corner and embrace it because nothing can change the fact that it is currently the biggest song in the country.

Abodam in a conversation with Zionfelix.net on his birthday which happened on October 7 maintained that no good song has been popular like the ‘One Corner’ tune so people should stop making ill comments about the song. To him, most songs that become the toast of the nation as Patapaa’s tune are mostly secular songs and they usually have insane lyrics.

“No good song has ever hit in Ghana. Most of the songs that become very big in the country are secular ones and they always have insane words. We have to accept the fact that the song is a hit” he said.

He described the song as “the hottest song” and Patapaa as “the biggest artiste in Ghana as at now because everybody is enjoying the song in all parts of the country and even outside the borders of Ghana”. The artiste real name Emmanuel Botway speaking to us at the signing of his new artiste, Skonti on his label promised to help Patapaa fight all individuals speaking against the most popular song in the country because he is from his hometown.

“Since he is my brother from Swedru, I’ll even fight for him because I think it is helping our town. We need more artiste like him from Ghana who will get international stars like Chris Brown talking about their songs.” Kwaw Kese told Zionfelix.net

After ‘One Corner’ by Patapaa went viral, many Ghanaians including Men of God have spoken strongly against the song.

New Music: Adina & Kidi – Timeless Love

0

Afro-soul singer and winner of Best Vocalist at the Ghana Music Awards, Adina Thembi continues to etch her shrill and lusty voice on not just the fans but carefully coxing her way into the heart of MTN Hitmaker star, Kidi.

Celebrity journalists have described the two ‘lovebirds’ as inseparable as they coupled to produce one of the best songs I’ve previewed so far.

Being an experienced producer with one of Africa’s top urban music house, Lynx Entertainment, Kidi is seen as a talented young singer with a promising future on the African music scene. This year has been great for young upcoming musicians especially Afrobeat artistes as their records get encouraging on-air rotation across Africa and some parts of Europe.

‘Timeless love’ – The song

Something soothing about a young, innocent girl’s delivery on a love song, but Adina isn’t; not arguable. Timeless love was originally sung by Spanish singer and songwriter, Enrique Iglesias – a chart-topping soundtrack ‘Cuando me enamoro’ for the award winning Telenovela ‘Timeless love’. Adina’s voice delivery is just prolific.  Key attention to the amazing works on the keyboard as Kidi enters with his doting verse….‘walking to the stars to bring Adina the twilights” Dude got lines.

Adina joins in swearing her hearts out to do anything for Kidi. This is a song for love. In this love song you definitely find fondness of two young people delighted about their feelings for each other and openly expressing it.

If this is just a song, they shouldn’t let it be. I entreat Adina and Kidi to make it real.

Get a taste of the theme song of GHOne TV’s new Telenovela ‘Timeless love’ performed by Adina and Kidi below, and don’t miss this award winning, captivating love story this October on GHOne TV.
